Samsung Z Flip 5 Review: I Was Wrong!

Kind of blows my mind that there’s a wor­ry about dust/dirt… like… what about phones that are wide and don’t close. What hap­pens with the dust/dirt on them?

Have the ZFlip 5 and it keeps say­ing mois­ture has been detect­ed and not to charge. Has any­one else expe­ri­enced this ?

I’ve been a long time iphone user since the 2nd one, i tried android once back on the galaxy s7 and did­n’t care for it then went back to iphone though after see­ing and try­ing out the flip 5 I am real­ly tempt­ed to switch to it instead of upgrad­ing my 14 pro max to the 15 pro max would I miss out on much besides the obvi­ous apple echo system?

The only thing I’m not lik­ing on their new phones now is how taller & nar­row­er they become. I’m still using my note 9 & real­ly thingk­ing of upgrad­ing to that Flip5 but the size is what real­ly turn­ing me off…

The flip 4 is hands down the worst phone I’ve ever used. It’s a frag­ile gim­mick. These things are designed to break and not last long. Seri­ous­ly, don’t get stuck in a con­tract with this phone

Watch­ing on my Flip 5, been using it for a week and so far so good

Would a flip 5 be a nice upgrade from the flip 4?… or maybe a fold 4 is a bet­ter upgrade?

My prob­lem with the Z Flip 5, is that it stops back­ground apps unless the phone is OPEN. I keep track of steps and calo­rie burn in a step app I use. It stops count­ing and won’t allow the app to run in the back­ground despite me chang­ing ALL nec­es­sary set­tings. This is a deal break­er for me.
I will say it is con­ve­nient to fit in my pock­et, cam­era is awe­some, and the front screen access is cool. It paired eas­i­ly to my car so my car reads me vm msgs so I don’t have to take it out. And it streams my music off my phone with­out touch­ing it while dri­ving. Even GPS runs through my car speak­ers. How­ev­er, since the bat­tery los­es its pow­er very fast, my step app stops unless I man­u­al­ly open into the app. So I am look­ing into anoth­er phone. 😢

The key­board on the flip 5 cov­er screen is still big­ger than the key­board on the z fold cov­er screen
