It’ll be Watch “10”, not pronounced “ex”, similar to iPhone X. And in Joz’s talk about the Vision Pro, the videos taken with iPhone Pro 15 can be shared with someone WITH a Vision Pro which makes sense; if there was a way to view on your phone, you don’t need a Vision Pro, and hello, that’s the point — sell Vision Pro or Vision or Vision SE.
So ots basicslly the same technology from maybe 15 years ago when first camcorder with two lenses was able to shoot 3d video, innovation is dead.…
The only reason I’m going to buy the 15 Pro Max is for the spatial video. I’m gonna pair it with the Vision Pro when I get it early next year.
Totaly meaningless features
Spatial Video is not being talked enough about.
It is a vastly underrated feature. Can you imagine recording your child’s first steps and reliving them years later? How about a marriage proposal? That would be an emotional landmark. I would definitely want to record moments with my parents who are old. Even after they’re gone I would feel their presence, albeit digitally. But it would be as close as I could get to being with them. This feature is going to change the way we store memories digitally.
Man. I knew this was going to be the future of video recording but it’s shocking to finally see it. How the other developers didn’t see this is wild.
I think it will be playable like on those 3D Billboards on the streets the optical illusion that it will look like you are looking on a window instead of TV, let’s see I’m also excited to have that 15 Pro Max 😍😍😍
Trouble is, vr headsets are so uncomfortable. All of them.
A nozzle on the Apple Watch & a camera on it
Vision Pro will fail. Nobody wants to use a big clunky device strapped to their heads. 3D TV failed for the same reason.
Until you can truly ‘plug-in’ your optic nerves to a device, these will go nowhere. And that is many decades away. If ever. We’ve never had even the slightest baby-steps into it, and none are on the horizon..
3D videos on the 3DS were fun. 10 years later and nearly $5k for the total package. Very Apple.
You could also use the Apple Watch as an Apple TV remote, just using the accelerometer to move on the screen and the double pinch to select
can we watch the spatial videos with a meta quest?
Honestly I may switch to an iPhone just for the spatial video feature. So long as it’s viewable by other devices (ideally without having to convert it) I’m all about that. I would also hope it’s viewable in 3D by other VR headsets, but not counting on that one unless someone other than Apple makes it happen.
what are insightful video about what is about to occur in the future? kind of crazy to think that this is coming true
the spatial files can be converted into any vr platform
I dont understand why every apple fan looks little gayish 😒
is it possible to record spatial videos with the 14 pro? Apple would limit themselves the sales of the Vison Pro if they limited it to the 15pro. then only the owners of the 15 pro could use the Vison Pro function. It seems to be a software implementation. I’ve only been able to use Apple Pay for 5 years, even though it’s been possible since the iPhone 6. 90% of customers will probably only watch videos and play games on the Vison Pro. Because I would only buy the glasses because of the 3D function, but I don’t like the 15 pro, the 14 pro with the highly polished frame looks so much nicer, I would really hate to upgrade to the 15pro.
Stop being frustrated im sure Apple will have it sorted out by the time the feature comes out 🤦♂️
If meta quest 3 is $600, Apple Vision Pro is gonna be $2500 😂
