Would­n’t an astro­labe and star pro­jec­tor be use­ful here? As I under­stand it the pro­jec­tors used in plan­e­tar­i­ums can be pro­grammed for any date and time of day.

Big hole in his cum­ber­lan­dite the­o­ry is it comes from no oth­er place so how would the Tem­plars even know what they were look­ing at and since it was a new ore it would­n’t have any rela­tion what so ever to Venus at that point in time. 

The oth­er main thing that both­ers me is like so many Euro­pean mind­ed his­to­ri­ans he com­plete­ly takes Native Amer­i­cans out of the pic­ture. That area was still heav­i­ly pop­u­lat­ed in the 14th cen­tu­ry because the plagues brought by the Euro­peans had­n’t hap­pened yet. Ship size was­n’t that big yet and the aver­age only held 40–50 men and sup­plies (Colum­bus’ largest ship was only 40 men) and a good num­ber of those would have been need­ed to sail it and weren’t trained war­riors. So with even 3 ships that’s at best 150 men, maybe half of them trained at fight­ing and I’m sup­posed to believe that lit­er­al­ly thou­sands of Native Amer­i­cans in the area would have just stood by as the built this over a peri­od of at least a year (You would need that to build most of the struc­ture and ver­i­fy align­ments) Firearms in Europe had­n’t hap­pened yet (Mid 15th cen­tu­ry) and I find it hard to believe that 150 men tops armed with swords and no firearms would have last­ed very long against the thou­sands of Native Amer­i­cans in the area.

I am try­ing to decide which is more laugh­able. This series or the ancient aliens. 🤔
