How could this impact hypoth­e­sis have even been con­sid­ered in 1974 if we crashed the lunar lan­der into the sur­face in 1969 and fig­ured out that the moon is hol­low?
Some­one is not being hon­est here.
Why is it that sci­en­tists seem like the dumb­est peo­ple in the uni­verse some­times? These are the REALLY pro­found ques­tions in this uni­verse.
A far supe­ri­or the­o­ry is that a more advanced civ­i­liza­tion put it there. But in order to get a PhD, it seems like you have to turn in your tes­ti­cles for collateral. 

If some­one else can con­trol your brain, then you are not intel­li­gent and not of any use to this world. You’re just say­ing things based on what every­one else has already agreed upon polit­i­cal­ly, so how can much sci­ence hap­pen? It can’t. Very lit­tle sci­ence is hap­pen­ing, and our civ­i­liza­tion is learn­ing at a slow rate. The peo­ple who do know things hoard the knowl­edge and sell us these non­sen­si­cal sto­ries that any­one with a func­tion­al brain can eas­i­ly dismiss.

Ooh–I think of the plan­ets of our solar sys­tem as fol­low­ing a frac­tal path. What’s to say say that the moons of our solar sys­tem aren’t fol­low­ing similar–yet often appear­ing to be on unre­lat­ed and random–paths? They are all essen­tial parts of the plot­ted whole which we’re try­ing so des­per­ate­ly to understand.
