Cleopatra was not so cute.
Aome Egyptians may have interlocked with the family. Still changing history I see 🙄
Ptolemy XII DID NOT create the Hathor Temple. So the story of Cleopatra should be put into question.
I thought her brother was named Ptolemy.
To be continued watching this historical documentary. who is watching now in this year 2023
You gotta love how Egyptian or Roman documentaries always use English actors and actresses. I think because the English accent is supposed to convey civility.
They just had to add the BS that her mother could have been a “Egyptian!” Wrong! I have been to Egypt and went to the museum in Alexandria the scholars I have spoken to all said that her mother was Syrian! A Caucasian like her Macedonian father! Caucasian is a race. Not color! It’s the same with Romans ( my ancestors had that mixture when they invaded Mesopotamia and intermarried with Assyrians , later mixed with Greeks) All three are Caucasian!!
Is this how they looked like then?😂😂😂😂
I am pretty sure she was a black beautiful woman
I’m a history major and I like how you portrayed Cleopatra in this documentary, a lot of people seem to forget the fact that she was ethnically a Macedonian Greek despite being born in Egypt and was the daughter of Ptolemy XII Auteles, who was a Macedonian Greek king of The Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt and a descendant of Ptolemy I who established The Ptolemaic Dynasty in Egypt and was a general of Alexander the Great.
She’s awfully pale to be Cleopatra 😒. Y’all really mad at Netflix I see. Mmm looks about Wyt.
The problem here is that Cleopatra is too beautiful. A lot of scholars from the time period described her as average or fair. Granted, most were Roman scholars that had different beauty standards. But even those of neutral standing, or those of favorable standing to her did not use gorgeous or beautiful. That came much later from cinema.
“I have immortal longings within me.”
Who did it best the role
Cleopatra?? 🤔🤔
Elizabeth Taylor of
course.😐🤗👍🏾👍🏾
its a great story
Everybody loves the way she looks but I’m pretty sure she didn’t have a British accent, but I guess nobody cares about that lol 😂 😂😂😂😂
A story that took place in Africa the birth place of civilization. I wound who lives there?
Cleopatra the most famous Queen 👑 in history.
Tamil is the world’s first and oldest language than ancient Egyptians.
@ 1:41 — you can see the pain in her eyes having to admit that Cleopatra was light-skinned. LOL. Wokeism is a cancer.
