No new Surface Pro 😢
Let’s just pump the brakes on whether AI will do anything for us. As for MSFT’s hardware attempts, there are other hardware partners out there, so it’s no big deal.
The only use I see copilot being useful is in Microsoft Teams, automatically taking notes, actions. Now that is useful
I wish they would just drop the numerical suffix from their product lines because their naming scheme is already confusing without because insisted on using the word “Surface” in every single portable product line!
Microsoft should ask Co-pilot how to reinvent Surface
Are the usb‑c thunderbolt or just usb‑c?
Microsoft is not even spending enough attention on Windows nowadays, which is arguably one of the main reasons for the existence of the Surface product line — to provide a benchmark Windows experience.
Panos Panay is the best product presenter since Steve Jobs. He makes you feel connected to technology as an extension of you.
Microsoft making hardware was foolish
5:19 , if you want to say Hi to the lady in the background
surface line great but how are you still using micro sd card. who the hell still use that. photographer want SD CARDS
all i want is just an ai creator app. i want to give instructions and it builds. for an app that is only necessary to describe the ui, and the copilot takes over the code. making what you want and automatically optimizing things in the background.
but i want something that is not limited as microsoft designer… i want to have full control over what the ai does. and integration. right now it is too limited. everything feels like a gimmick that will take 10 years to get useful…
The copilot is promising but kinda slow compared to the likes of Siri and Google Assistant, but CoPilot does give you a very extensive answer, plus answers really complex questions.
I don’t trust MS laptop to last more than 2–3 years. And it’s too much tied to Windows. I prefer Dell for that
I feel Microsoft surface lineup. All they need is a great showmanship and customer service.
I really like Panos. Sad to see him leave MSFT.
The surface laptop studio is like that 1st picture of the IPhone in the legendary IPhone premiere. It kind of sad. Microsoft seems to lose interest in very good brands or develops ridiculous tech.
We will transition from Windows on device to Windows on the cloud. Where you open your phone or your tablet and you run Windows 11 and Office for the low price of 200 euros per month. I realy love the convinience of having to cary my phone with a dongle around. But too many subsriptions!
Microsoft is just software company which makes few hardware just like Google
You know, it really bugs me how Microsoft has these fantastic ideas and acquires great companies like Skype, but then they drop the ball when it comes to developing or improving the products or the companies. I mean, their laptops are pretty impressive, but they don’t seem to make a big impact in the business world. For instance, in my company, we switched to Apple computers since the M1 chip came out because they include all the essential office and basic apps right out of the box. And seriously, why doesn’t Microsoft bundle something like MS Office for free with their laptops? It’s like they want people and companies to switch to their products, but they miss this no-brainer opportunity to provide some consumer software with the laptops and computers they sell. Don’t you think?
