What everyone fails to mention is they didn’t need to ignite wood. They lit the oiled canvas sails!
…a man loves killing others but itself. Mass destruction its best weapon to accomplish it.
This video is incredibly informative. However, the breathless, joyful, smiling attitude of many interviewees, when discussing these death-weapons , is odd.
LAME!
The ONE PIECE is Real? 👀
The fact that mainstream Science has even let us know about this warship 2200 years ago called the “Forty” from Egypt even existed! If you ask me why would they need that huge an aircraft carrier even though they didn’t have airplanes? Its simple, it’s a landing spot for their Gods, who fly through the sky and the water, and would have needed a place to land in order to speak with the Egyptians when they came out to sea to visit their gods home area, which is very likely somewhere at the bottom of the ocean! This is an acceptable theory right? I mean, they are showing us actual Alien UFO’s on the news, and CNN, and other news outlets, and even bringing up the subject in Congress these days. So given they broke the truth, I think the Egyptian Gods were alien, lived at the bottom of the sea, and this ship the Egyptian made, was for them to sail out to the middle of the sea to prove their worth, and then the Aliens would come from under the water and have a place to land in order to have a conversation with the Egyptians. Just my 2 cents guys!
I doubt he burnt them with the reflection. however I bet it blinded them and gave archemedies the advantage. just like in the old west!
What’s the name of the song that plays when the carrier is shown?
Smart son of a gun that Archemedius
The reflected sun light did not have to set the ships ablaze.
The humans on the ship could not have withstood temperatures in excess of about 140 degrees F.
Don’t believe me, stick your hand Infront of a heat lamp for a min or so. You will get my point!!!
Human do not fare well in intense sun light/heat.
Ancient sailors would have jumped ship in terror!!! rather than potentially burn to death.
It is more likely that the well-known catapult was used to launch clay pots containing flammable liquids onto the deck of ships, which could then be ignited by a burning arrow, which was also well known in ancient times,
Fire is sudden death to wooden ships!!!

Attack on a cloudy day
I find these British Historian ladies very attractive ❤
Even if it didnt actually set the wood ablaze… it could absolutely “cook” the persons on the decks of those boats right? Radiant heat is horrifically effective.
the history channel repeats it’s self way too much about what they are trying to explain
👍
better barrel and a lubed patch would have shot that ball a wee bit farther
Thanks for “another” great video.
Oh no he blew his eyebrows off during testing😅
The scenes with the ugly motion tracking glove are just distracting and the motion tracking just made it worse. Everytime you try to look at the rendering the guy twitches and turns his hand all over the place. Just gotta say that took away from it.
How does a steel ball generate flames?
