Even though Apple put its best camera yet in the $1,200 iPhone 15 Pro Max (it does astrophotography better than the Pixel 7 Pro??). So to put the company’s first 5x telephoto lens, USB‑C port, and ProRes Log filming capabilities to the test I took it on a 1000 photos road trip through Southern California. It’s a great system, but it’s missing the last piece of being a “Pro” system. Presented by @Jeep

Thanks for the very helpful review, Becca! 7:27 Can you please recommend good equipment (cable and external drive) for shooting 4K 60fps videos?
Sony a7cii review please
Give Becca a raise!!! she is a wonderful reviewer. Subbed for Becca.
Remember when this person “reviewed” Hasselblad 907? What nonsense, clearly zero professional or even advanced experience
My thoughts exactly about the missing puzzle piece. The iPhone 12 was my gateway drug to full frame mirrorless cameras and lenses. I cannot tell you the many times I used a mirrorless and thought, “I wish this was an iPhone so I can just point and shoot but also have full control on settings” but also on the other hand, “I wish this iPhone was a legit camera with all the computational photography and capabilities.” The iPhone is definitely the future bc of it’s multiple features, convenience and I can just take it out of my pocket easily and it’s always with me.
Awesome review
super review Becca.
in before someone calls the gameboy camera filmic 😅.
loved the vid 🫡
i wish she could say something about the phone.
How’s it feel on the hand, is it slippery, what color is the best, is it overheating, does it lag and so on…
Thank you 🙏🏽
Amazing review
yesss the first iPhone. greay review
The video make me feel like the iphone 15 pro max has no good camera
No it isn’t. The portraits are way better on pro max compared to the S23 Ultra.
Hi Becca,
This is a great review. And I honestly do hope that Apple will finally listen to its users and make the camera app and its settings a joy to use. They need to get rid of what they think we want.
What an awesome review, love how you film and talk about the device. Besides great information and experience, the style really spoke to me.
If you had ever had the 3x zoom, did you miss it? I just can’t decide which I’d use more, 3x or 5x lens.
Best camera review of the iPhone 15 pro I’ve seen yet!
I’m glad an actual photographer is reviewing this phone. Usually people will say an android is better because it has higher megapixels like that’s the end all be all. It has to do with color science and feeling and a vibe. Anyone who’s used a Fuji camera knows megapixels aren’t everything and this isn’t something the average joe understands.
Why verge did not review Samsung s2122 and 23
Wow I really liked the style of this review, Becca is great
