Juul was the fastest-growing company in history. Now, they’re a cautionary tale. Based on the book Big Vape: The Incendiary Rise of Juul by TIME Health Correspondent Jamie Ducharme, and directed by R.J. Cutler (Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry; Belushi), this four-part doc-series unpacks twenty years of Silicon Valley innovation, influence, and insanity to explain the spectacular flameout of the vaping device that almost changed everything.

The people that got addicted to vaping must be steaming mad.
already finished watching it
I am not a paranoid consipiracy theory type person , but documentaries like these i can 100% guarantee are somehow sponsored by big tobaccoo , as smoking ( especially in males) is on the downfall since past few decades , but nicotine consumption is increasing mostly due to vapes . I am a doctor , well aware of evali ( electronic vape associated lung injury ) and scarring in lungs associated with vapes , but the COPD rate is 1.1 ( three times as less than smoky , tarry ones and nicotine although addictive is practically as bad as caffeine ( high blood pressure and all ) , and considering certain personality types require mood stabilisation for wellbeing . So , vapes are definitively 1000 better than the good ol’ marlboros and the sudden Instagram video of constant vaping for a couple of years has caused lung collapse and transplant is probably propoganda BS.
PS — if there is any hidden damage by the unknown chemicals , it prolly will surface in about 50 years of trials and research , and i am not suggesting the use of either
I believe the cigarette companies wiped out the vape companies.

Kingdom season 3?
Look how happy these people are making money while ruining health — what is this garbage? It’s not better for your health, its bad for the environment and a ton of people actually intake more nicotine than they did when they smoked?
But netflix is like… let’s highlight them 🙄
Poison
It’s a good documentary. Juul definitely shot themselves in the foot with their advertising strategy. They definitely tailored their ads towards kids. That backlash was inevitable.
