Pixel 8 in 5 minutes | Is it WORTH it?

I don’t under­stand why peo­ple are try­ing to say that the Pix­el 8 won’t last the entire upgrade peri­od. The chip is plen­ty fast enough, apps aren’t get­ting that much more advanced. Google are the ones con­trol­ling the entire expe­ri­ence. I have devices that are years old now and they’re still just as fast as the day I got it. Phones are com­put­ers and require main­te­nance to keep work­ing quickly.

I appre­ci­ate your video bro… I have a Pix­el 8 and this video was infor­ma­tive com­ing from anoth­er per­son­’s perspective.

Android Author­i­ty lost its spark when David Imel left. The chan­nel has cycled through review­ers since then but none of them have been as interesting.

I also won­der what hap­pened to Damien’s con­tent? It used to be more rep­utable when he was at 9to5Google.

I hope that Android Author­i­ty can turn the ship around and pro­duce bet­ter content.

hey i don’t know if you guys will reply here, but i was won­der­ing if you had any not­i­ca­ble dis­coloura­tion of the screen when you tilt­ed it to the left and right, or up and down (com­mon­ly called the “rain­bow effect”)?

the Pix­el 7 (not the 7 pro, and idk about the 7a) had a very not­i­ca­ble dis­coloura­tion which would turn so red that it looked like a red fil­ter was over the screen. i can’t believe more peo­ple did­n’t talk about it, but you can find plen­ty of peo­ple talk­ing about it. 

it was so bad that i had to return the pix­el 7. my old galaxy s8+ screen does­n’t have dis­coloura­tion when tilt­ing the screen at all. the detail was bet­ter on the pix­el with real sup­port for HDR and what­not, but the dis­coloura­tion from the pan­el was too much to handle.

Com­ing from the Pix­el 3a XL, yes it’s worth it.
