I have been in theaters on stage and behind stage most of my life. LIVE THIS!! 🎭❤️
Old theaters are always my favorite cinema to visit!
As an almost lifelong resident of Los Angeles, this makes me unbelievably happy.
J.esus Christ Returns, repent of sin and OBEY the LAW of the Fatheeeeer… Y..A„H.. is a egipt DEMON, BEW.A.R.E … (HalleluJAH is a PAGAN word)
That’s quite the distance from the screen to the first row.
top 👍👍👍👍
I have to see this
Why is there little to no height difference between the surrounds at atmos speakers?
That’s an awfully nice place.…to house more migrants.
Hey Netflix, I just wanted to reach out and encourage you to consider picking up Siren. As a fan of the show, I know how much it means to the community and how much potential it has for future seasons. I believe that Netflix could bring new life and a fresh perspective to the story, and I hope that you’ll take this opportunity to give Siren the chance it deserves. Thanks for listening.

Netflix owning a movie theater is like Amazon owning a local bookstore
The serial k!ller is now trying to resurrect his victims…
That’s so beautiful! I’m a SoCal native. And yet the only Hollywood movie palaces I’ve been to are the El Capitan and TCL Chinese IMAX! I got to check it out one time
Netflix sucks and then there raising the prices……..???? you go on every day and they say all there’s a new movie Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and then there’s never a new movie on all this shit is a bunch of documentaries about stupid ass people that we’ve seen 1000 times come on Netflix step it up.
This is my first look at the restoration and I have to admit it’s a little jarring. I’ve lived here long enough to have gone to the Egyptian when it was still a first-run theater, then after the re-design for the Cinematheque — which took some getting used to. Now I’ll be doing it again and very much wonder how that will feel. In both my hometown ( Omaha) and LA, I’ve seen many theaters come and go, but through three different incarnations, this will be unique.
Good good..❤❤
Kingdom season 3?
This is so special! I’m so happy
I took my wife there to see Breakfast at Tiffany’s for Valentine’s Day several years ago. I loved the experience being a huge movie fan, but the theater was obviously struggling. This restoration gives me so much joy. Others I’d recommend are obviously El Capitan and the Chinese, plus the HUGE Fox Theater (Regency Westwood Village), Bruin (Regency right across the street), the Cinerama Dome (Arc Light), the Aero, New Beverly, Nuart, and the Vista. I’m sure I’m missing a couple. But there some really great and historic places to watch a movie in and around LA.
