i know itd be kinda niche but id love to see a review of dumb flip phones or the semi-dumb like the cat s22 flip.
see the issue for me is the way smartwatches are viewed. imo, they shouldn’t be a computer on your wrist. they should be an extension of the one that’s already in your pocket. I don’t need a smartwatch with the fastest clock speeds. I need it to be something that displays my notifications, and the time on my wrist so I don’t have to pull out my phone. honestly the only reason I considered a smartwatch at all was because the galaxy watch 5 pro has 2d+ battery life while being an extension of the phone that’s in my pocket vs being a computer on my wrist.
Apple is just worse at everything, the only reason they still exist is the name.
Hot take: many manufacturers are making ridiculously overpriced earphones because iPhone started it with their earbuds and basically showed everyone else that they could get away with it
I definitely record vertical especially during a concert because it’s so much easier to maneuver and Pan left or right with it
I’m way more onboard with vertical video now that we have somewhat gotten away from trying to push that on tv and movies. I think it has its place. And also for the GPU one, if apple made GPUs it wouldn’t change anything for me because id never be able to afford it, also not convinced they could top Nvidia.
oh yeah, they did a bunch of research into durability for the cybertruck. that is, they really wanted to make it fall apart as quickly as possible
If folding smartphone/tablets become a thing… 4:3 makes sense.
The low price was the most interesting part of the cybertruck for me. It’s so low it’s almost “Getting your first car” price range.
But it ended up being just another fancy toy.
The cybertruck is the ugliest vehicle ever… end of! I don’t care what it costs, it is simply ugly and dangerous to other road users.
I think Palms Web OS, and Windows Phone 7 were better designed and all around better OSs for phones then iOS and Android in the early 10s and maybe even now.
I guess most tech fans are not into basketball.
Please make the chevron hoodie in other colors other than red. 🙏🏽
Is that a da bomb hot sauce in the background 😂
I get why some people like vertical video. If most of the video content you consume is on your phone then vertical video makes sense. In any other context that I can think of though horizontal is better. Even our eyes are in more horizontal aspect ratio.
Tesla’s Cybertrucks are going to do well in the United States only because the country is not importing chinese E‑trucks due to sanctions. BYDs are prettier (well, anything is) and can outperform the Cybertruck in a lot, if not all, specs. People from the United States are being denied of good vehicles because of politics
i still dont really get apple watches. idk all smart watches are kinda whatever
so if the fly like shit, and lots of fly, it must be the best food? just because most people are idiots or crippled and incapable to turn their phone sideway to make picture or movie, it will not change the fact that our eyes are widescreen in their way. it is not an aesthetic preference. our bodies, the way we see is what it is, and no amount of stupidity will change it (until genetic engineering not reach that level in a century or two.)
comparing 39k to 60k post pandemic is not that crazy
That video format solution was good btw
8:32 — so you mean like the 8:7 that a GoPro can film in ? 🙂
arguing that the Apple Watch’s battery life is acceptable because is so popular kinda misses the point that LOTS of people buy apple because of apple, not because of functionality
RIP Pebble Time Round. Days of battery life, as thin and round as a normal watch, was a great companion to your phone, supported voice to sms, solid buttons for UI with an always on screen, so you weren’t wearing a finger print laden black hokey puck on your wrist. RIP.
They could buy Intel…
If Apple made discrete GPUs, they’d probably only serve the workstation GPU market and charge $10000.
The moms… are coming 5:45
The whole idea of early announcement and underdelivering is to pump up Tesla stock. It’s not a marketing strategy, it’s a financing strategy.
FSD will always be a failure.
Apple is not a tech company. They are a fashion company. 99 percent of their tech breakthroughs are iterations of others innovations. The last time apple was actually leading innovation was with steve at the helm.
Here’s a hot take, cybertruck isn’t actually a truck in anything but in the name.
The CT I kind of get, although I wouldn’t have called it “late” as in tons of shit had to happen between those. But curious the $39k price tag why Ford F‑150 doesn’t get beat up for hte same. I think it was that price for a hot minute.
Phone battery life is dependent on how you use it. When new I would typically get 4 days of battery life on my iPhone 8. I’m still using it and it’s down to 3 days because I haven’t gotten around to replacing the battery yet. I’m not on the phone 7x24.
Tesla FSD will leave beta. It won’t be resdy to, but it will leave beta.
Back when the 13 was still the latest iPhone I was planning getting a 13 mini. Until I got to my mobile provider and used the floor model. It was too small and cramped. I liked the concept but in practice my hands were too big and I was too used to bigger phones at that point. I ended up upgrading to a regular sized iPhone 13 which felt like the perfect size and I think it was a bit smaller than the OnePlus 8 I was using at the time so it gave me the the same feeling that I thought the mini would give me. Still rocking that 13 by the way and it still feels amazing I probably won’t upgrade until the 16 comes out and even then probably not immediately.
