As close to a real life superhero you can get
One reason I’ve always hated watching these types of movies is becasue the gore in fight scenes wasn’t realsitic enough. Only one movie so far in my opinion has accomplished this and that was 300. Fo me, seeing the type of fight scenes in a movie that you’d see in a television series just makes it seem cringey. Filmakers should invest a lot in realism and make it look good.
Thank god that it doesn´t seem to be another shitshow like “my grandmother always said that Alexander The Great was black, Slavic and half Chinese”.
Woman : You are the son of Zeus
Me: who isn’t..
The actor is good but still doesnt look Mediterranean enough
Love how history makes look Persians as the bad ones…
The GREAT Macedonian!!
Wait a minute! This is Netflix. Isn’t Alexander The Great supposed to be Mexican, based on the sound historical fact that someone’s abuela (grandmother) told them that. 😂
It’s just not the same without Angelina Jolie as Alexander’s hot mom. 😍
This is already looking shit. It’s well accepted that it might have been Alexander himself or more likely Olympias who orchestrated Phillip’s death, most likely NOT Darius. Phillip forged Macedonian army into what Alexander took against Persia, Alexander improved on it sure, but his father’s achievement are not to be underestimated. Alexander’s upbringing was incredibly important into forging him into the king he became and there’s not a single frame of that in this trailer. I’m shocked that they didn’t cast a black actor to play Alexander, Netflix being Netflix. Just watch Oliver Stone’s Alexander instead, it’s light years better.
Is he called they/them in this remake?
Somehow in the story, Netflix will find a way to ruin this story
Wait! Alexander didn’t have an Irish accent?
Where the phalanx at, not hollywood battles
Look like they had a budget for this
looks okay
This looks horrible
this guy remids me of zack efforn so much that now i want to see a new film about Alexsander with zack as the lead
Muy interesante.
I’m looking forward to seeing Persia represented in a more favourable light and as a formidable adversary, both militarily and culturally.
I like how people are on here commenting about historical accuracy when Alexander had nothing to do with Zeus because he was Macedonian and he favored Egyptian gods over Greeks that why in the end of life he was buried in Egypt and crowned himself pharaoh and built monuments there as well
This is Like the 4th time I have been burnt by these thinking it’s a series in the moment but turns out to be a documentary that cuts away to a guy In a office at the good moments 😓
Watching this
a God? LOL, could he walk us through the process on how he created a star? 🔥🤔🔥
Only one God. And he sacrifice himself on a cross for humanity.
Are they going to show his boyfriend he has pay attention 👀
Why isn’t he black?
More anti white trash.
At least people appreciate Scorsese’s Alexander more now.
How many documentaries that Alexander has have throughout years. This is art at his downfall, people wanted Tv show from Netflix that will change everything but look what we get , litle copy cats talking about Alexander life. This is worthless the A.I this is the downfall of creative imagination in action.
We want to see what we know, not to be told history with individual. Bankrupt
docudrama- explains the quality. too bad, I was kind of excited at first.
Nice — maybe we can finally learn the story of how Cleopatra became black in this presentation.
I thought somebody will say “don’t matter what the teacher says in school alexander is black”
wait Alexander is not black???
but my grandpa said .…
Can you do a lost in space
i want netflix to make a whole series of movies that are similar to “the king”. take historical figures and make movies about them. netflix could be the hub for historical movies that are actually good
wait the minute ? Alexander is not black ? is this Netflix ?
I am shocked they found a white guy to play him without a heart-warming diverse cast
Wait, something’s not right…why isn’t Alexander a black paraplegic lesbian?
I don’t care what they say, my grandmother told me Alexander was black!
Looks cheap.
The bigots had to find their imaginary race color story
Alexander the Great is my historical crush. This series better not disappoint me.
