I want to watch a site that uses and follows the latest equipment, you are dropping Apple Vision Pro, I am dropping you
50% downvotes is tough to do these days.
I think Apple should treat the Apple Vision Pro like the first home computers. Make it so everyone in the household can use it and share it.
The verge has a lot of editors: “editor in chief” “managing editor” and “editor at large” 😂
Alex’ and David’s disdain for AI despite clearly not talking to anyone outside their immediate social circle about its functionality and use cases continues to be troubling.
Jesus the constant snark is unbearable, like if at least it was funny… I imagine 10 or 20 years from now people will look back at this and be like wow, it’s a collection of bad takes, luckily no one will ever watch this again…
Like, meta is 10 years at this, they have such a mature product, that has never turned a profit, but the dumbasses have no concept of “bigger picture”…
More like The Verge of Tears.
big lonely tvs xD .…no bro it’s literally Ironman holograms in reality …if u don’t like it because it’s not perfect and it’s expensive fine
First World Problem Number 1.
Returning a Tech Gadget! I think the U.S. got other bigger Problems..
First time I saw an iPod nano I knew I wanted one (at the time I wasn’t really using mp3s). I don’t have the same reaction to the AVP. And I have been into VR since 2016.
1. Android Tablets never left and are now betrer than ever, see Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
2. I dont have his TV but im pretty sure there is a playstore app installed where he can update the Android apps, like i can on my Phillips Android TV

I love it and it is comfortable for me 🤷♂
As your average $40k a year American, the Vision Pro just appears to be a totally unnecessary, marginally cool-looking face-computer that after 20 minutes will reveal itself to be utterly useless. I’ll pass.
It’s magic until it’s not. Dude… That’s exactly what apple is. Thanks for saying it.
fun podcast with good points
Since most of the “after shocks” are rants the other hosts have about a given “lightning round” topic, I believe they should be called “thunder grumbles”. After all, what comes after lightning?
What happened to the theme song at the beginning? 😢
Comfort depends on the light seal and bands. Go and change them out if it’s not comfortable.
Don’t really get David’s take on the iPad apps. They work pretty well lol
I dunno, man. I dropped the four grand. Day one. Amazing. Day two, pretty amazing. Day three, I watched half a movie. Day four. I didn’t put it on. Heavy, uncomfortable, expensive. I powered through that stuff. It’s just a bit of a pain. The eye tracking is just OK. And guess what? People touch their fingers and thumbs together all the time.
Doh, it’s returning day after the 14 days try out limitation policy.
Customers should be relentless about Apple forgoing multi-user support. This is anti/consumer and it needs to end now. I can understand why iPhones don’t have it, but iPads, AVP demand it.
It was always a stupid idea.
I’m sorry guys, but you don’t get the bigger picture. Hard- and software wise the Vision Pro is absolutely capable of much more. It all comes down at creativity. The one thing only creative people can add, programmers will make it, but the basis is creativity. You just talk about the ‘the thing’ as it is. Like someone who sees a piano for the first time, describers the piano, hears the music that programmers put in to it, but a real creative pianist can get most out of it and than you will be in awe. So, discussing the Vision Pro as being ‘just another VR headset’ is absurd. It is much more than this. And there is a huge gap between consumer and business wise usage. This part is also missing in you discussion. I’m not an Apple geek, but someone who knows a lot about all kinds of technical innovations since 2003 and know what works and what not. The Vision Pro is a huge leap that outsmarts everything that is out there. If I would use it just as it is 2 weeks after the introduction, I would agree, but try to step out of this narrow minded conclusions that are based on easy targets and understand the bigger picture. To easy to judge by the way you do.
I’m not sure what ppl were surprised about with this headset. It’s Exactly what they said. Vr headset with amazing pass through. Best headset I own out of 15 headsets I have over last 6 years
This is not a Vision Pro issue. These ppl are just complaining about vr. They should probably realize that this is the best vr product money can buy. If you like vr you should own this. If you’re not into it. Then fine. Your not into vr
If you’re really interested I wouldn’t suggest ppl that are not VR reviews. Find a vr channel and listen to there thought. Like he keeps walking about motion blur is a camera issue. lol it’s a panel problem bro. It’s called low 😊resistance and it’s the trade off to OLED screen Vs lcd. And let me tell you. When using vr that doesn’t have OLED and blacks are gray. It’s bad. So it’s worth the trade off. But these ppl don’t no anything about that stuff
Look. This is a Bentley quest is a Honda. That’s it. There both cars and both get you to A‑B but the experience getting there is way different. Everyone in my family who’s tired Vision Pro. Loved it. When they all hated trying my quest 3. Normal ppl are impressed. These tech ppl just don’t realize what normal ppl like or think
Mark is also being very deceptive saying this video is shot with quest 3 pass through cameras. Because we all no footage record from pass through doesn’t look like it does in the headset
Is that not what camera man doo. Stair at someone with the cameras? Confused why that’s any different
Very good. This is the best review I’ve seen so far.
As someone who uses VR daily for 7+ years Apple has delivered quite a revolution. You guys sound a bit quite Steve Ballmer and Nokia when iPhone came out. Vision Pro is a revolution as IS.
*sees all components, including fans, fit inside the small headset:
“If you took that out they would need a whole backpack.”
Do better.
MS communication is poor was the only failing in last weeks out. Why did you not mention that for years Sony have been releasing their premier IP’s on another platform?
I’m guessing that there will be a GamePass for each platform until streaming is a viable solution.
If OpenAI are charging $20 and MS CoPilot are charging $20 how many more of these subscription services are gonna pop up and then OpenAI (Non Profit???) say here it is for free?
These clowns are making complaints about things that aren’t major issues for people who actually use it. What the clowns don’t get is it does everything I can do with my phone so this idea there is nothing to do with it is laughable.
way too much filler. way too long. the beginning chatter was not important
Love my VP , no shine coming off since day one and excited for what is ahead!
Amazing Podcast. Appreciate you guys sharing great information. For making me laugh. David hopefully you will feel better quickly. Always enjoy. ✌️💯
Filler words are amateurish and audio awful.
If I had a quarter for Everytime Alex was allowed to finish a sentence or thought- I wouldn’t have many quarters
Don’t really get David’s take on the iPad apps. They work pretty well lol
The Irony is that when AI takes over they will force us all to where the vision pro. It will be the real matrix.
