first of all.…WHY Dakota?

sec­ond, we already got the PERFECT adaptation…1999’s The Tal­ent­ed Mr. Ripley…as good as the pho­tog­ra­phy does here…what’s the point in re-doing this story..?

I already know that Andrew Scott can bring the creepi­ness, so my one big hope is that his per­for­mance is also allowed to show how charm­ing and con­vinc­ing­ly harm­less Tom is capa­ble of appear­ing. That dichoto­my is at the heart of what makes him such a unique monster.

Can­not wait for this. Andrew Scott is get­ting the big­ger roles and he so deserves it — from his turn on Fleabag and Sher­lock to All of us Strangers — such great per­for­mances — he’s on his way now. I’ve no doubt he’ll be great in Ripley

I don’t think I have ever been more excit­ed for a series than I have until this one. The cin­e­matog­ra­phy, the music, and Andrew Scott? This is going to be fantastic
