Kamaluddin Mohammed Majeed, mononymously known as Kamal, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who predominantly works in the Malayalam cinema. He was the former Chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. Kamal made his directorial debut with the 1986 film Mizhineerppoovukal.

പാവം പാവം രാജകുമാരൻ ഒരു ബംഗാളി ഫിലിം adaptation ആണ്…അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഈ പടത്തിന്റെ adaptation ആണ് അത്…കുട്ടികാലത്തു ഞാൻ അത് ദൂരദർശനിൽ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്…ആ ബംഗാളി സിനിമ കണ്ടിട്ടാണ് ഞാൻ പാവം പാവം രാജകുമാരൻ കണ്ടത്. .പിന്നീട് ആ ബംഗാളി സിനിമ ഞാൻ കുറെ തപ്പി.(അത് ബംഗാളി ആയിരുന്നോ എന്ന് പോലും നിശ്ചയം ഇല്ല )
താനൊരു മാന്യൻ ആണെന്ന് കരുതിയതാണ് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് പറ്റിയ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ അബദ്ധം. പീഡിപ്പിച്ച പെൺകുട്ടിക്ക് ഏതെങ്കിലും സിനിമയിൽ ചാൻസ് കൊടുത്തോ?

എന്റെ ഗൾഫിലെ വിരസമായ കുറേ നാളുകള്‍ ഈ സിനിമ കാണുവാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ വിനിയോഗിച്ചു ഒത്തിരി ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട സിനിമ ..പഠിച്ചത് sringapuram boy’s high school ഇല്‍ ഇതെന്റെ nostalgic സിനിമ കൂടിയാണ് ❤

എത്ര തവണ കണ്ടു എന്നറിയില്ല ഇപ്പഴും കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്താന്നറിയില്ല. ഭയങ്കര ഇഷ്ടമാണ് ഈ പടം യാതൊരു മടുപ്പും ഇല്ലാത്ത സിനിമയാണെന്ന് തോന്നില്ല
