Thank you for this trick it helped a lot. You’ve got a new subscriber 😁 keep it up with good tricks.
a little word of thanks for all these tests
what work !
And in fact, it is beginning, even for Samsung enthusiasts, to be too difficult to get a good photo.
moreover there are options, from everywhere to getting lost in all these settings
not to mention 4 apps (Smasung Photo, Pro Mode, Expert Raw and Compagon)
In the end the pleasure was no longer there
For my part, I was able to notice that my blurry photos were due to the capture speed being too low, all to keep the ISO very low, too low precisely because the image becomes blurry.
Strange logically to be at ISO 10, even 16, in any case much lower than ISO 100 which is already very low and therefore sacrifice speed
which also necessarily increases the setting time.
so I stay in pro mode all the time with 1/250 at least
Auto ISO
except in special cases of night and long exposure
and I have much fewer errors using it like this
Thanks again for your video
But this isn’t a good solution because you’re reducing image quality by selecting faster shutter speeds in favor or quality. This is poor from Samsung having to result to this and using a separate app. Why?? And why can’t they sort it by now?? Useless
still has issues in April 29 2024.….….AND THEY SAY APPLE IPHONE HAS A BAD CAMERA AND SAMSUNG IS THE BEST HAAAAAAA YA RIGHT
Thank you for this video. Im not very tecky and this is my 3rd ultra . I have the ultra 24 now. Around a month old. My selfies with others is blurring one person as well as stage photos. Its embarrassing as this phone is not cheap . After this video maybe i should add camera assistance which i knew nothing about.
Who uses the screen button to capture a photo? I assume the volume buttons don’t have this problem. And you don’t shake the camera when pressing a physical button you’re already gripping.
My galaxy s24 ultra also very slow shutter speed 😢😢😢 your solution not work for me moving objects 😞😞😞
Exactly! Why did Samsung hide this setting?!
Looks like the May update addresses this issue, at least in my case that was the same as you, I was facing a very annoying shutter lag and almost all my pictures was blurry… But after May update it get a LOT better. Could you confirm this?
Yes, but notice how blurred the details are on that screen you photograph with the S24 in minute 4:44 compared to the pixel… why is that??
When somthing new hits the market especially with ai integration its going to need lots of updates
omg thank you so much 😀
No no no… My pixel 6 Pro and 7 Pro lag on photos. Specially with processing right after the photo.
It’s a frustrating issue to deal with. I’ll try two things when I receive my s23u: the quick tap setting in camera assistant and increasing shutter speed in the pro settings. (I realize you tested the s24u and not the s23u but assume the difference will be minor).
It’s not only about speed of photo capturing. It’s also Samsungs terrible processing. Combine them and you still can’t get a decent photo of any moving subject (especially indoors, even with great lights, and in low light conditions). There isn’t the way to correct this with Camera assistant and even if there was, one should not pay for premium phone and use workarounds to get decent (not great, decent=usable) photo of any moving subject. Iphone and Pixel perfected it years ago, how long are we going to accept Samsung not doing anything about it and instead telling us we don’t actually know how to use our phones ?
Thank you
samsung fail. i regret buying S24U just because of this shutter lag.
i will prolly sell this and get an iphone 16 soon and get a xiaomi 15 as my android main phone
I’m using s24 ultra. My front camera is freezing every time. Why??
S24 ultra is crappy phone for all photos. IT BLOWS A$$$!!!!
I also notice the photo looks good on my phone then forward to other people it’s crap.
I could care less about the speed just give me good resolution!!!
I previously came from a Xiaomi 14 Ultra, loved it but had the Camera condensation and software bugs — returned it, and had to option for the S24 Ultra. Eventually i can atest that Samsung fails in providing good high quality mechanical cameras — it depends on altering photos and videos via software. I get the eventual ”’notification” from the Gallery APP -> ”’refining image”… disappointing!!!
I honestly wish i could have kept the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, as it was cheaper, louder, faster, and it does come with a good camera — much stable, much clearer, much realistic, much naturally sharper, non-software dependent.
Thanks for the video. When you enabled Quick Tap, I noticed that even though the shutter speed mostly matched between the two devices, the Samsung S24 Ultra pictures of the timer looked blurry compared to the Pixel 8 Pro. Was this a common occurrence? I tried and returned the S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra phones due to blurry pictures and I don’t even want to attempt the S24 Ultra knowing it still experiences bad camera / picture blur. Cheers
Wow I made a post on Reddit and someone suggested this video and it was a home run!
In my A54 when I take a photo at 1:00 PM, for example, the shutter animation comes at 4:00 PM and I can see the image in gallery at 8:PM…
For real… For take a photo in good illumination ambient the A54 takes even 15 and more seconds… From launcher to gallery… It’s embarrassing.
After having the s22 ultra camera fail on me 50% of the time I open my camera. Pixel is my next phone
That was a lot of work. Thank you for your time and for sharing.
For me it’s 1/8 pictures mainly cuz im moving really fast for amazon yet the iphone 13 is crazy fast and consistent im afraid to upgrade my iPhone
It’s disappointing having to rectify this when the device is high priced
