🤦♀Sonakhsi…it´s not “Honslo” as in the British town of “Hounslow” 🤭. It is “hauslon”. Can Bollywood EVER deliver proper Urdu? After Rekha ji´s Umraao Jaan, really…they´ve never got Urdu correct. It´s frustrating! As beautifully made as these promos are, every one of them lack in the language department. The sheer sadness of them not even pronouncing basic words such as ishq correctly! Boggles the mind. Ishq, taqdeer, khwaab, ilfaaz.…please, these are BASIC words. 🤔 At that point, you haven´t even reached the very first step of what could be called “advanced” Urdu. Bhai, BASIC ilfaaz toh naa bigaarro, Allah ka vaasta hai!
How would it feel if Urdu-film makers made a movie and got very basic words/names wrong? What if they said “Saaaanjiv”, “Pendit ji”, “Parkaash”? It takes away the credibility and taints any good efforts. Iss qadar mehngi webseries aur language coach ke liye koi budget nahin?

Both actresses did very well.Webseries is very good and showed the Bazar e Husn of Lucknow(Lahori Heeramandi is totally different). Too many flaws, Gora officers were speaking very good URDU , strange?
