When Hana (Sasha Luss), a professional gamer who suffers from acute agoraphobia, is asked to trial sophisticated new gaming equipment which uses AI to interpret the electrical activity of her brain, she sees an opportunity to enhance her game. As Hana and her best friend Jen (Alexis Ren) experiment with this new technology, the line between reality and Hana’s subconscious quickly begins to blur and she starts to wonder if the device is helping her or serving a more sinister force.

Are they putting any ad dollars behind this? I mean if you spend even a few thousand dollars you should be able to get a decent number of views and impressions. Lionsgate’s marketing department is dropping the ball here if they don’t promote this at all
Is it just me, or does it not feel like a whole lot of other movies… Oh, yeah. There was that Soderbergh film about a female agoraphobic computer-wiz that got dragged into hacking shenanigans during Covid. That’s probably what I was reminded of. That and a slap of generic horror paint. Some generic glitching effects. Some generic loud noises.
I’m starting to think I am not this films target audience.
I kind of would have preferred a strange Tetris movie adaptation.
The hardest thing to believe about this trailer is the fact that she was playing a gameboy in dim light..
Isn’t this just upgrade
Caramba isso tá incrível!
1:02 “Let the games begin” presses Alt F4
மிகவும் அருமை 😍😳😱
Alt + F4 🤣😂🤣👍
Mm super bro
Alexis Ren is acting now eh
Waiting for the sequel : Delay
Ahh yes the super gamer girl who is less than 3% of the gaming community.…..
По любому посмотрю ) она моя любимая актриса)
Best actress in ANNA movie.
let me guess, the two main characters are gay? 😂😂🙄🤦
Я слышу “Розпрягайте хлопці коней”? ❤
bruh similar to “The Peripheral” series.
Holy groan zone my dudes. They can at least make better trailers for these movies.
It’s like the movie is made based on trends of the gaming industry.
And you used the Tetris theme? Really?
:/
This looks like total garbage. Super model girl boss plays hand held nostalgia bait that predates her own existence and then fights evil! Yay..
So, this is almost literally just “Better Than Life” from the Red Dwarf series, but done baaaarely different enough to not be hit by copywrite infringement?
I mean, it’s a good idea for a movie, but it seems a bit TOO “inception mind F”-y to me.
Aside from the Tetris theme, what is the music used towards the end of this trailer???
Existenz directed by David Cronenberg, 1999
It’s like a Black Mirror Episode
Ready player one + Gamer (2009) + black mirror vibe.
It Looks Like a Ripoff of “John Fylnn 1994 Brainscan”. Hollywood Has No more Ideas. The Original Gameboy Handheld in this Movie it Gets Thumbs Up for that👍👍. That means its base in Our Universe.
Anyone know the song at the end?
Anyone know the song at the end?
Is it just me or can anyone not understand a single word she’s saying?
I dont get the hate for this I actually think it looks good
Merci eXistenZ.
HOW IT ENDS: She’ll figure out that it’s all part of the game and then she’ll win by way of a clever motif. She will have finally conquered her agoraphobia which we we’ll see by a final scene of her in a park sitting on a bench talking to her friend over a cup of Starbucks on a warm colorful summer day. As she stares off into the distance with a smile on her face, she’ll suddenly see the city skyline glitch out for a brief second indicating to us that she’s still in the game… The End
This looks good
