I just realized, hangover in medival cultist fantasy setting would be interesting.
Fo the international viewers: the “Decameron” is a collection of one hundred short stories written by Giovanni Boccaccio, an Italian writer in the fourteenth century.
Italian students are use to read his works, being part of their school curriculum.
It’s a fun and dare I say avant-garde piece of literature, specifically because of how it’s well written given the period in which is set and what are the events that surround the main characters.
Because of how delicate and genuine this stories are and the mastery with which he deals with heavy topics, I think this is another butchering of a historic piece that deserve much more.
I still keep my hopes up, but if you are interested there’s not only the book but also a Pasolini’s movie.
Someone saw Gaspar Noe’s “Climax” and thought “Well, what if it was set in medieval times?”
I’m really over the degenerate crap that’s all over film/tv now
And they die from the plague
❤🎉
Is the movie about sex? I don’t get it 😭
Had to read the book when I was in elementary school. Wonder how the adaptation going to be .
WHAT THE PHUCK WAS THAT !?!?!?
Ok 👀
Millions of Italian teachers are now found dead after this trailer, while the ones already dead are chanting a curse to not make this happen.
English literature squad assemble ❤
There’s so much happening! I’m intrigued.
Another woke crap
Medieval orgys lets go!
I’m ready for this. Thank you past me for taking Intro to Renaissance in junior year lol.
❤sweet
Love that Netflix controls YouTube to not show ads on its YouTube channel.
If it needs explaining, it’s shit! really simple.
I read Decamerón at university its excellent and with Saoirse-Monica here this is a no brainer for me!!!
As a fan of J.W.Waterhouse, I love his painting Tales from the Decameron, so went out and bought the Tales book ♥
Looks cheap… 😕
❤
“In 1348, the Black Death strikes hard in the city of Florence. A handful of nobles are invited to retreat with their servants to a grand villa in the Italian countryside and wait out the pestilence with a lavish holiday. But as social rules wear thin, what starts as a wine-soaked sex romp in the hills of Tuscany descends into an all out scramble for survival.”
Someone saw Gaspar Noe’s “Climax” and thought “Well, what if it was set in medieval times?”
Looks like garbage
Have you read Decameron? Or it’s just gonna be another Netflix adaption?
Love some deliberately anachronistic music
Is it just “1670” but pre-sequel and different country. Probably Yes
Read the book ages ago, hopefully Netflix will not butcher this, but the music and dancing already looks out of place, we shall see.
They are Kate Kenneding everything
Atomic Blonde bring me here!
I’m from the US but I had to read this for a college class a few years ago, all you need to know is that it’s one of the most batshit crazy books out there, especially for its time, and you should be excited for this
Oh my god, was that the girl from Derry Girls?
Do people not know what Decameron is about?😂
I read this book. it’s wild.
I love it already!
IS THIS REAL IM GONNA LOSE MY MIND
music in the 14th century was very similar 🤔
what is this Sh£%?
I read that title as “The Doraemon”! (─.─||)
Boccaccio turning in his grave.
Should’ve named it:
“STUPID TRASHY WHORES.”
Hindi dubbed trailer please
Give the person who edited this trailer a pay raise
I’ve read comments in english in which people were comparing this to The Masque of Red Death, and I didn’t understand why, since it’s a very different setup and story from Decameron. Now I see why they were doing that.
What the actual f were you thinking, Netflix…
I wanted this to be related to The Pentavarate. It was not.
I already feel like it’s gonna be the horniest and worst adaptation of a book ever and most of the people are going to say it’s a piece of art
This looks finally like a decent retelling of the book. So many bad adaptations of many books and remakes. But finally a possibly great version. The first time with the film was pretty good and this seems to be in the same vein but with a bigger budget. I look forward to it.
why are most of the comments so negative ? it’s okay to just let things happen , goodness 🙄 looks interesting to me anyway 🤷 i love this song and netflix has a lot of good shows so … 🤔
