I love the purple iPod nano
Just a small request. Please sync up the publishing time for the podcast and the YouTube video. Y’all publish the podcast quite a few hours before throwing up the video. I’d much rather watch the video than listen to the show on my speakers. Thank you.
Another Verge hit piece.
Do you guys not post reviews anymore? Just vergecast episodes???????
Love liberal media
Your boy.…..what ??????
No substance whatsoever on tesla
Please reiew the next Iphone or something. Tesla goes way over your head
Obligatory Respectful David Pierce Thirst Comment.
I dont think you touched on this enough but what the judge did is actually quite significant, going against a shareholder vote that passed with 75% is quite rare.
The guy makes it seems like Tesla just shifted to autonomy because they’re bored with a “car company”. Its really hard to listen to this “expert”
Theres a reason 10+ year old teslas have all the cameras for autonomy, autonomy was the goal from the start.
Google lens hasn’t been killed yet? That’s news
Muskcast 🙄
There is constant accusation of Tesla hyping their stock price, but I don’t see them constantly issuing more stock that would substantiate a reason to hype it.
Tesla: world wide best selling vehicle in 2023 (Model Y)
Vergecast: lots of concerns about it’s future as a car company
Perhaps 2024 will tell a greatly different story, but that doesn’t sound like someone with a huge struggle.
Lol if Elon is bored of running a car company, no amount of money will keep his attention. That’s like having a kid to save your marriage. But I guess Tesla needs its ultimate PR system.
If your phone or watch controls your actions in any way, you have far too little agency in your life and you need to evaluate much more than your fitness goals. Cheering because your robot overlord allows you a day off is the ultimate in idiocy.
when she said “streaks are toxic because we are not machines” it blew my mind. it is gamification disguised as achievements but actually it is training an addiction to give them guaranteed screentime.
Regarding the opening monologue, IKEA is your answer.
if you care that much about fitness tracking and what your watch tells you then get a proper fitness tracker like a whoop or Garmin. There’s a reason almost no serious athletes use it track their fitness.
What’s confusing about bankruptcy?
Big fan of the Verge, but a lot of broad disinformation on this episode. Seems out of character.
LOL love the preamble about shopping for vanities
David I wish you the best and completely understand have a friend who just did their own and it can get pricey so good luck and definitely watch. Her came out really well but becareful and chose wisely. Good luck.💯✌️
The Verge is consistently negative on Tesla and Elon! Wonder why?
RE the intro: That’s why Temu is killing it for basic stuff.
The Dynamic Moronic Shilling duo here. Still shilling this ponzy scheme AKA Tesla. 🤡
The ONLY reason Tesla has posted positive earnings year after year is because of their selling of the clean air credits that they don’t use. They sell these to other car companies year after year and and that has brought them out of negative to positive earnings year after year. So basically, the government is funding Tesla and keeping it from going under. These credits add up to billions of dollars a year. This isn’t including all the other welfare handouts he gets. 🤡 Tesla makes NO PROFITS selling their vehicles. Who do these two bozos think they’re fooling? Only below room temperature IQ folks still think Elon is a genius. Bunch of bozos. Those robots can barely even move and Boston dynamics has had robots doing gymnastics for years now. Elon comes up with a Fisher Price version of that…..Elontards worldwide rejoice in the presence of their almighty “genius”. Pathetic times we live in.
Acute means there’s a cure or treatment or you naturally just get over it. Chronic is an ongoing illness that one does not recover from and may just live with throughout their natural lifespan. Terminal is a disease that eventually kills you. Usually chronic. Occasionally acute. Elon musk does not have “acute shines object syndrome”. Definitely chronic. Possibly terminal.
next: ponzi scheme
does this ppl know what happed in tech industry all youtuber talking about surface pro 11 and SB7 and the verge? two hours taking about feature in apple pencil
the confusing part comes from Elon not being a Lib
I liked the last bit about weather apps
Ah so vergecast translates to podcast. Why would I watch a static image for over a hour. Might have been something interesting here, but click, I will never know.
