I do kind of ques­tion their choice to even bring this over con­sid­er­ing that the OG series has a rather noto­ri­ous bar­ri­er of entry for eng­lish speak­ers. Nei­ther the man­ga or ani­me have been brought over in any offi­cial capac­i­ty; the fan­scans for the man­ga vary in qual­i­ty and are over 20 years old at this point, and IIRC the ani­me isnt even ful­ly subbed yet. And start­ing from Per­fect Ori­gin will con­fuse the group that grew up with Nisei (Ulti­mate Mus­cle) since it’s con­tiun­ing from the OG. The revival por­tion of the series is bas­cial­ly catered towards long­time fans of the orig­i­nal so like did any of the japan­ese folks approv­ing the licence ever count on caus­ing so much con­fu­sion for new viewers?
