REMEMBER CRT?
THIS IS BE IRRELEVENT IN 10 MINUTS OUT OF THE BOX.
6:28 that shit was like the best transition ever kinda vibe. It was honestly really similar to a transition video🤯🤯
hes using a digital video image ofc the quality is ok…
A few key points:
Refresh Rate
8k 60Hz/4k 120Hz native refresh, NOT 240Hz Native refresh, he’s apparently talking about Samsung’s motion enhancement feature “Motion Xcelerator” which is built upon 10+ year old marketing that brands have been using to sell cheaper displays forever. It’s deceptive to market this display simply as “240 refresh rate”, which a fair number of reviewers have done for this model.
NO Dolby Vision support. Samsung sticks with the less popular HDR10+, even though other flagships can do both. If you’re a big 4k physical media collector because you prefer the absolute best sound and visuals, plan to have your TV calibrated, and like to watch in “Film maker” mode, this could be a sticking point.
Samsung’s Tizen operating system still sucks, and is noticably worse than their main competitor’s OS (which is LG: theirs is also clunky, but more functional overall). Smart TV OS’s in general stink, but Google, Roku and even FireTV integrated televisions all generally work better than these brand specific wrappers.
The 8k AI upscaling is probably the best looking 8k you can get on an 85″ TV, but unless you’re sitting a bit too close to your television, for most people even at this size it’s a bit of a wash in general. On the other hand, the lack of 8k AI upscaling on TCL’s new 115 inch (4k capable) TV is EXTREMELY distracting from even considerable distances within a twenty foot radius, so it’s strange that Samsung isn’t selling this 8k TV in a much bigger size!
HE’S SO COOL THAT HE HAS HIS MIC ON HIS HAT! MAN I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE HIM! HE’S THE COOLEST PERSON IN THE WORLD! DEFINITELY HUMBLE I BET!
do a 4k and 8k blindtest…
Hows the soundbar? I got the HW-Q710GC to my s90c OLED. And it has unacceptable delay. Its almost unusable unless you got content where its really hard to check on picture to sound sync. Like listening to music or sth
Watching 8k video in 480p😢
I wonder how does it compare to the 83″ Samsung S90D OLED TV.
I’ve wondered what an Xbox series X would look like on that TV in 8K. It’s supposed to support it, so does it actually?
Watching 8k video on my 4k tv in YouTube 1080p.
We are getting ever closer to the point where image quality is indistinguishable from reality (or looks even better). At that point, a TV will be more like looking through a window. Hoping to be alive for when that happens, also for when lag is a thing of the past and every computer can support 1,000+ frames per second.
is it me or does the tv doesnt look that big for an 85-inch
fans of projectors will say that less than 100 inches is already a smartphone))
What is going on at the edges? they look very dark
Who in their right mind would spend $10,000+ for a TV, thats ridiculously stupid of Samsung, WTF
I will never buy Samsung ‘s TV till it support DobyVisoin
Going to burn out in three years

The slim design and large scale create an immersive experience that seems second to none.
The one connect is a huge fail on these current TVs I had the Samsung S95C and returned it for the next step down S90C because the one connect box is limited to 40gbs instead of 48. If you game with any next gen consoles or computers trying to push 8k or 4k 120/144hz the one connect box will give you endless blackouts and drop connections. I hated to return my super thin gorgeous S95C and replace it with the S90C but it is the only way to reliably game at high refresh rates without signal dropout.
If you have money to burn buy this tv but if you are a reponsible person you can get a 85 inch Hisense or TCL with 5k nits of brightness a lot brighter than this tv and the picture quality is very close and its only $2800.
Nice video
This video gives me zero joy, it seems like you guys aren’t enjoying making it at all
Tested the Q990D myselfe in my store together with the S95 oled tv. awesome sound extremly high end!!
I was looking at this tv but I feel like the LG C4 is way better than this. Also the Samsung doesn’t do Dolby vision!
No 100″, no care.
Wow!…
Dope review as always man…
Getting really bored of hearing/seeing the letters AI
only losers pay for expensive TVs
Big TV
They sent me an email about this one thing that interests me is the integration of AI into TVs
Setting that up with Crocs in offroad mode…wild!
Oh god.… don’t say “As close as you can get to edge-to-edge” when talking about Samsung. Otherwise we might end up dealing with a decade of TV’s with curved edges and screens that wrap around the side.…. until everyone realizes that the whole idea is kinda stupid and they all start going back to flat displays.
What’s the model number of the soundbar?
All I can see it them gross gayyy crocs
