Just bought these, i upgraded from the 3rd gen. I upgraded because I wanted type C and I’m sick of having to keep a lightening cable around. The noise cancellation is very good, considering you don’t have the gel tips plugged into your ear. Compared to my other the ear XM5s, of course they aren’t at that level, however they work well enough.
I’m 100% on board with Moe’s concern😂I hate it when I sing along and conversation awareness ruins it.
I bought them the first day they came out, totally worth the extra $50

Look I love your vid so but you gotta realize the point isn’t to prevent you from hearing people it’s so that if there’s a lot of background noise it filters it out, if your talking to someone or someone is talking to you directly you wanna hear it so the AirPods will let you

No test on droning noises? Fans, A/C, maybe get up and hop on a bus, or in a car with the windows down on the highway. Talking is about as bad a test as one could do. Even having people murmuring in the background like fuck a silent cavernous room with one person talking is a terrible test. Why should Lew need this explained.
