I’m sorry, it’s not a good song
The problem with Sushin is that he struggles so hard to construct a coherent melody. Even he has confessed about how hard it is for him to mae a tune. The struggle is very evident in this tune and sadly he is not the man for melodies. The closest he came to making a good one were the song from Malik and Uyiril Thodum.
Comparisons with Anirudh are pointless here. Both are very limited composers but Anirudh is so far ahead when it comes to making good melodies. Kanave Kanave (David), Neeyum Naanum (Naanum Rowdy Dhaan), Porkanda Singam (Vikram), Rathamaarey (Jailer) and Neelorpam are real masterpieces that are so high on melodic value. Sushin stands no chance for even a remote comparison.
Amal needs to get out of his comfort zone and work with some proficient composers.
I’m a tamilan however i would say Sushin shyam is better than Copycat Aniruth 😠🙂🤗
