iBook G3/G4 were strangely powerful systems. Being early OS X machines, they had great multitasking capabilities. When our company web server needed upgrading, I put my iBook G3 in place temporarily. The upgrade didn’t go well and my iBook was in place for a week. Customers mentioned how much faster the site was!
„while we wait“ had me chuckle
Great workflow you got there 😊
Easily removable batteries need a comeback
That keyboard flex, tho 😂
Brah easy on that CD drive. You’re shoving discs in there like it’s a coin slot.
I had a very similar MacBook in 2004. I’d love that machine! But it was not long before it began to have issues with the keyboard, battery and CD burner.
I used to play WoW on my iBook G3 800Mhz. Crazy times. 😂
Still have my iBook G4 and blue iPod mini, and boot them both every 6–8 months just for the fun and nostalgia. No way I could do that with any of the Windows machines of my adolescence 😂
OOOOOOMMMGGGGGGGGGG
my first mac 🥲
How was the trackpad back then? I am assuming it only became good after the touchscreen came out on the iPhone.
The second tech video I see from the verge, I hope it’s better than the first one.
Don’t touch the bottom of the disc!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh
We lived well back then
Keyboard plastic keycaps from 2004 compared to latest technology of MacBook is still better!
“Property of X School”… so authenticity 2004
Found my iSight a few days ago!
I loved mine, when I had it. Until I put Leopard on it, then it CRAWLED, even with 1.25 GB of RAM.
The moment u realise 80’s isn’t just 10 years ago and millennials are now Uni grads..😮
I still own the same model!
Got my old 4th Gen iPod out and back up and running. Been enjoying using it again. Certainly helps reduce distractions while working since there is no apps or notifications on it.
