As a Canarian myself, I want to highlight an important aspect missing from your “movie.” Three years later, many of the people affected—those who lost everything—are still living in containers. We, the Canarian citizens, along with a significant portion of Spanish society, raised money and made donations. And what happened? It all magically disappeared.
The corruption in our government is so rampant that they don’t care about an entire village being destroyed by lava. You had the opportunity to create a truly meaningful documentary, perhaps even for Netflix, exposing this scandal. But no, you chose to produce a sensationalist film about—surprise, surprise—a tourist family “invading” the island, spinning a dramatic narrative that never actually happened.
You seemed to think it would be clever to make another The Impossible-style movie. Meanwhile, the real families continue to suffer the consequences, overlooked and forgotten.
Day 44 begging for the next season of Lookism
Y han tenido que hacer la peli los p. noruegos. España, ESPABILA.
I made a better movie
And this is an actual thing that has a possibility of happening and would devestate east coast of america as well, not sure if uk or ireland would get hit
Too bad they fake it up by the crashing in the sea of a part of the island nonsense. That did not happen at all in the 2021 la Palma erruption. I was hoping for something realistic drama with that setting. And its not that there is a lot of high quality film footage of the actual erruption that lasted for 3 months sept-dec 2021.
Not Interested In This Nor Squid Games!
It looks Jussaic Parks & Pompeii came together.
For the first few seconds there I thought it was John C. Reilly… but nope 😂
Netflix is like a Great Lover:
(Those who have/had one, would know what i mean)…
-
When you think you have lived/experienced everything with them, the next time you make love with them, they give you, they show you, they make you feel something NEW.

What the hell are people in the comments complaining about? As a norwegian you should shut your mouth tbh, if u dont like it, dont comment, simple as that

La Palma (Spanish: [la ˈpalma] , local pronunciation: [lɐ ˈpɑ(l)mɐ]), also known as La isla bonita (English: The Beautiful Island) and historically San Miguel de La Palma, is the most northwesterly island of the Canary Islands, Spain, which is a Spanish autonomous community and archipelago in Macaronesia in the North Atlantic Ocean. La Palma has an area of 708.32 square kilometres (273.48 sq mi) making it the fifth largest of the eight main Canary Islands. The total population at the start of 2023 was 84,338,[4][3] of which 15,522 lived in the capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma and 20,375 in Los Llanos de Aridane. Its highest mountain is the Roque de los Muchachos, at 2,426 metres (7,959 ft), being second among the peaks of the Canaries after the Teide massif on Tenerife.
In 1815, the German geologist Leopold von Buch visited the Canary Islands. It was as a result of his visit to Tenerife, where he visited the Las Cañadas caldera, and then later to La Palma, where he visited the Taburiente caldera, that the Spanish word for cauldron or large cooking pot – “caldera” – was introduced into the geological vocabulary. In the center of the island is the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, one of four national parks in the Canary Islands.
Don’t give a shit
So a newer version of Pompeii 😂
I remember when “Volcano and Dante’s Peak” came out. 😂
This is commercial shit and disrespectful
OMG this looks fantastic. Cannot wait. Love me a little doom and disaster along with the holidays! Was hoping it would star the guy from The Wave and The Quake, though.
I may say… The fishes in the video are from coral reefs, which dont exist in La Palma… That makes me think that they likely took the images from a stock site instead of filming it in the island xD
Love that the setting is from the view of some rich tourists…Super disconnected from the reality while feeding from the fame of a real tragedy that affected thousands of locals…
“What this…oh, it’s those damn Norwegians attempting to bring about Ragnarok, yet again!”
Still nothing about Season 2 of The Sandman and Wednesday, disappointing Netflix.
good movie to watch with the family for the holidies
