This is actually really rad.
Ok wait but that’s nothing compared to what I saw a couple of weekends ago: A buddy of mine got his Roku working on an old tube TV that had no inputs. He basically had to create a mini broadcast station that he hooked his Roku up to in order to broadcast an analog signal that could be picked up by the TV. It worked and everything. Unreal!
This is cool but… Who has a MiniDisc?
This is like using a Zip Disk.

2000s era
Mini disc player were cool but regular MP3 players quickly surpassed them in price and affordability. Apple came along and killed all the smaller brands. The iPod and iTunes killed everyone. I had an iPod video while in Iraq. Escaping that environment with music and ripped tv/movies was everything.
