DeX needs more cov­er­age. It’s a far more use­ful tool than any of these AI things and yet it gets less cov­er­age than any of them. Even if noth­ing is new with DeX in OneUI 7, it’s still worth remind­ing folks what it is and what it can do.

They are not exclu­sive to s25 ultra all those fea­tures are built in UI7.0 and it’s com­ing to all com­pat­i­ble galaxy phones so stop mis­lead­ing view­ers just for clicks…

Im not sure how but since yes­ter­day my Galaxy S23 Ultra has the same Gem­i­ni inter­face as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, not sure about the func­tion­al­i­ty though.

Why would sam­sung both­er improv­ing bat­tery (mak­ing it big­ger, most peo­ple wants that) when they can slap AI thing on it ?

No mat­ter the device, these AI fea­tures will remain to be and feel half baked on our mobile devices. What needs to hap­pen, and is a long way off, is the AI being able to access All aspects of the device. Not Bix­by over here, Gem­i­ni over there. This is the same half baked garbage that is being pre­sent­ed in Apple Intel­li­gence. No mat­ter how seam­less these man­u­fac­tur­ers Think the hand off is in between these AI’s it is still nowhere near it needs to be to actu­al­ly be use­ful and accept­ed by the retail con­sumer. So instead of sell­ing these devices and mak­ing AI such a focal point, they need to upgrade the hard­ware. Not just the Chipset. This is going to be a major thorn in the side of these man­u­fac­tur­ers as Chi­nese com­pa­nies like Oppo, Huawei, Xiao­mi, Hon­or, all con­tin­ue to push the bound­aries of their devices and the US stag­nants with Sam­sung and Apple devices lead­ing sales in the US mar­ket. Years ago these would have been con­sid­ered Soft­ware Enhance­ments now they are pri­ma­ry sell­ing points of these devices. Sad state of affairs. Until these com­pa­nies come up with some type of God-like soft­ware fea­ture set, I believe, peo­ple will stop upgrad­ing as often, and it will affect all cell phone com­pa­nies bot­tom line going forward.
