Galaxy S25 Ultra vs Pixel 9 Pro XL: So tough to choose!

Its not even close at this point…one would go for the Pix­el if they just love the brand in gen­er­al but in terms of which is bet­ter then its an easy win for Sam­sung.
Think Google should rethink how they price their phones..not to come off as hat­ing, but the Ten­sor chip just does­n’t cut it as a flag­ship device, and its been like that for a while…$899 for the XL would make it a bet­ter proposition

So tough to choose! What do you mean ???? S25U all the way, Pix­el aint worth it, with that “Utter­ly dis­gust­ing” chip. Wait for S25 Update

I like Sam­sung bet­ter, but a Pix­el’s the only oth­er phone I’d get.

I owned a Pix­el 9 pro xl, just switched to S25 Ultra. Pix­el 9 pro lagged in a lot of stuff, like edit­ing pho­tos, scrolling on Ins­ta (yes, as sim­ple as this). S25 Ultra is the fastest phone ive used till date. Faster than the iphone for me.

I went with the Pix­el 9 Pro due to its size. I’d be inter­est­ed in a “Galaxy S26 Pro” (Galaxy S26 Ultra minus the S‑pen and in the S25’s size)

I real­ly like the S25 Ultra bet­ter, got­ta admit, but that Pix­el 9 Pro XL feels amaz­ing in my hand. I’m not dig­ging the Ultra­’s boxy shape though.

I bought the Ultra and love it so far and you can’t beat Sam­sungs trade in program.

I’m on the s25u and I do think it’s worth upgrad­ing from the s24u. There’s a lot of lit­tle things that are bet­ter on it, and that’s just hard to explain until you try it

Give me Google’s call screen­ing, Google assis­tant voice to text, now play­ing, and let me do all my AI mag­ic and edit­ing in the Google Pho­tos app. I hate that you have mul­ti­ple apps to do every­thing. Just use Google apps and put your One UI twist on it like they did with Google mes­sages and I’m sold. There’s so much to love about the S25 ultra just a view lit­tle things are hold­ing me back.

I bought the Pix­el 9 pro XL which I loved to be hon­est, but I also real­ly love Sam­sungs cus­tomi­sa­tion you can do on there Good Lock app and the Spen so I sold my Pix­el and bought the S25 Ultra and I love this too, both amaz­ing phones.

To be hon­est, real­ly hat­ing the so-called AI trends, most impor­tant fea­ture to me at least how smart enough the AI of chip and the proces­sor of the giant smart­phone fac­to­ry, Amer­i­can, Kore­an, & Chi­nese, although the Chi­nese Brands it’s not that easy to com­pete with.

I have the Pix­el 9 pro and will def­i­nite­ly not switch. The AI for pho­to appli­ca­tions and video record­ings works bet­ter with Google via soft­ware. The Pix­el 10 pro with new chipset👍

I would pick the pix­el for the soft­ware and the cam­era alone. I have a Sam­sung Galaxy A35 right now, and while I like it just not that impressed with Sam­sung. Last Sam­sung I had was an S9

AI is too gim­micky on ANY smart­phone today. Actu­al prac­ti­cal util­i­ty is very lim­it­ed. I shall wait a few more years and see if it improves enough for me to care.

Many peo­ple just ignore that Sam­sung has s25 plus, which has almost all fea­tures and cost less. It’s not fair to not men­tion things like tita­ni­um frame, spen, armored goril­la glass when com­par­ing it to oth­ers say­ing Ultra is more expen­sive and com­plain­ing about blue­tooth spen. There is a cheap­er option with­out them

My choice would be Hon­or Mag­ic 7 Pro 😅

one good thing about Sam­sung is they tend to throw a free pair of galaxy buds for free and the watch at a heavy dis­count. just sayin

Sam­sung Dex is irre­place­able. It SHOULDN’T be. Any com­pa­ny can do it. But for what­ev­er rea­son, they don’t. Until anoth­er com­pa­ny intro­duces their own alter­na­tive to Dex, I’m gonna have to keep buy­ing Samsungs.

128 gig is hard­ly measly, half the crap gen­er­at­ed by SM is sub megabytes com­pressed jank.

I have nev­er exceed­ed 70gb on any hand­set in the last 5 years even with YouTube’s smart down­loads on and down­load­ing my YT music and Band­camp library of over 300 releas­es and all the crap I receive on WhatsApp.

Just grabbed a 9 Pro XL and trans­ferred the entire con­tents of my Pix­el 8 and aside from a hand­ful of apps that did not trans­fer over app data I’m still only at 40gig used.
