Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra vs S24 Ultra: Which one to get?

S25U lost its dis­tinct char­ac­ter of being an Ultra with the round­ed edge, Now look­ing more like an A series phone.
Same was the sto­ry with S21, which ditched the QHD for stan­dard model.

Unbox­ing expe­ri­ence for the flag­ship mod­el also dras­ti­cal­ly down from S21.
Gone are the days when AKG Ear­phone & Charg­er were neat­ly includ­ed in the box. Yet we are still pay­ing a premium.

I sold my S24 U for the S25 base mod­el and I am not regret­ting it. Bet­ter chip set and com­pact form fac­tor. I did­n’t use the S Pen or the 100x zoom. The biggest hur­dle of the S24 U for me was the huge size and I could­n’t get use to it after one year.

“wait till the S25 U comes out” was all i heard from the Sam­my squad and now it’s here bare­ly dif­fer­ent than its pre­de­ces­sor, just some refine­ments here and there which of you have to pay more for.…

S24 ultra has pre­mi­um design com­pare to s25 ultra…S25 ultra round­ed cor­ners look as same as most of android phones.

Cur­rent sit­u­a­tions very use­ful review…

S25 ultra is my very first ultra com­ing from s22plus. I was eye­ing the sam­sung ultra­’s for a long time already but I did not pull the trig­ger until now. I just nev­er like the square boxy sharp cor­ners of the pre­vi­ous ultra­’s. The s24 ultra also feels too wide on the hand com­pared to the s25ultra. S24ultra is already a great phone com­pared to the 25ultra but I pre­fer the com­fort in han­dling the phone.

I still have the S21U and I stopped myself from upgrad­ing to S25U when the upgrade was only the chipset. No 6000mAh, no SiC bat­tery same charg­ing speed, noth­ing new. But the 7 years soft­ware sup­port is entic­ing though not enough rea­son to upgrade for me.

S25 ultra look like fake

The s23 ultra was the last phone with every­thing you need. Ever­thing foward is a cut ver­sion of it. Im think­ing of buy­ing the s23 ultra as used is going for 600/700€. The only thing against it is the years of soft­ware update. But i can always trade it after the updates are gone which is around 2027

S24 ultra all the way ❤ cam­era, stress test, s‑pen, design too.

I think over­all, I’ve been say­ing for almost a year… The S24 Ultra will be Sam­sung’s best over­all until the S27 Ultra.

Stay with 24 ultra because need spen blue­tooth for camera

The main dif­fer­ence is the round­ed cor­ners that were very ugly and uncomfortable.
