Is this an upgrade over the C9?
And nobody talks about the SOUND and the SOUND quality.. How come?
I have C1 and only use it for Ps5 gaming, I don’t think there is any new benefit for me to upgrade.
How’s the sound
I really appreciate your review a lot but one of the reasons I’m replacing my 6‑year-old LG OLED is because I have noticeable burn in from the YouTube logo so don’t be so sure you don’t have to worry about burn in.
I wonder how much of an upgrade this is compared to C7, mostly I’m concerned about latency.
Thanks a lot@
I can’t stop seeing the power cord hanging behind it.
Lg literally has the best and most mooth menu of Samsung and Sony. Very intuitive
I never see any difference in side by side comparison
This tv looks amazing on my $400 TCL 555.
good review, i’ve been looking at updating my sony KD-55XD8599 smart tv, i would like an OLED, i’ve been looking at sony, samsung & lg ect ect, i ended up ordering a 2022 LGOLED55C24LA, which is being delivered today, sure i’ll be happy with it, it come’s with 5 year warranty.
I purchased this TV in November of 22 and loved it. Today I went to turn it on.… nothing. It’s a paper weight. Went through LG’s troubleshooting, and they are going to be sending someone out to fix it. Long story short… I’ll probably never buy an LG again for a few different reasons. 1. This gave up the ghost 1 week after my return time elapsed at Best Buy. 2. I have a Sony that is still working from about 12 years ago. 3. I have a Samsung that is still working from about 15 years ago. LG is the worst TV experience I’ve ever had.
You can clearly see the difference in the brightness so not sure what you measured.
the lg c2 oled 55″ is pure class and amazing for gaming , i love it
a l e x a or g o o l e what the heck
Bought LG C2 65inch OLED in early Jan 2023. Best tv ever. Perfect for movies & high quality tv series. Couple that with a good surround sound system and you don’t get a better experience.
Quite possibly the worst review of this tv I’ve ever seen
ok to connect this to Mac Mini M2 Pro via hdmi 2.1?
The C9 is bulletproof for me, it has the HDMI2.0 port built into one of the hdmi ports for “future use” you can probably grab one for cheap in 2023. I paid 4 grand for mine brand new in 2019. I don’t use it as often as my Samsung 65in curved TV that sits in my upstairs living room, because I save all the good shows and movies for the TV in the man cave. The C9. I also don’t game on anything but my Samsung, so my Oled should hold up for another 5 to 10 years, if we’re basing the life of the TV on hours watched.
Just ordered a 62”. Considering the light weight, I hope my cat doesn’t knock it over
Hello i wanted to ask you is there any diffrence between these 3 models ? LG OledC22LB vs LG OLED55C2PUA vs LG OLED55C21LA? Thank you in advance!
Does the C2 sit at around 60 FPS or does the PS5 not push out 120 FPS unless you put it in performance FPS mode?
hi check out the new ACER tvs for 2023 WOW! 😂👍
Does it have the hdmi Earc for Dolby atmos surround sounds
C2 has less of a mirror like screen and a more purple tint to it also. It’s a little more matte and to me it’s not as clear and realistic PQ like my C1. Text is more blurry too. I guess I am just someone who notices these things.
I have a 65 inch OLED. It is less than 4 years old and even though I do not watch anything with a static display the panel has serious burn. Green blob in the center, each side of center, below the center, and starting to come up across the entire bottom across the board, looking like sharp, triangular shark teeth. This is not all burn in, as seen at the bottom. This is bad panel. LG only warrants the TV for one year!!! LG OLED is a gamble. Pay thousands and roll the dice.
Can someone help? I’ll try to explain best I can. Im new to OLED, I’d like to know if you aim the pointer for e.g, too far up or too far down into the screen — is it supposed to mess up / misallign the direction of the arrow? So even when I next point it to the middle of the screen while holding remote dead straight, the arrow kinda ends up anywhere but the middle unless I turn the pointer arrow off & on so it resets to normal. I hate it
I bought a c1, but it was out of stock. LG offered me a free upgrade to the c2🎉😂.
LG remote really sucks.. esp the ball is placed at the bottom center instead of top center where thumb is comfortable… Whoever designed the remote should be fired… remote should have less & bigger buttons. so that you can surely press them without looking at them…
LG’s user interface is garbage… I had to connect jailbroken firetv stick for my mom to be able to use because there’s no junk only useful stuff.
I am extremely unhappy with my Lg 55inch Oled C2 purchase. It’s screen is cracked very easily, and @LGUS didn’t help. $1500 Tv is trash now. I have had Samsung tv before this one and it’s screen was way more durable, my son has hit it with stick multiple times and nothing happened. Lg is not providing panel to fix, they are telling throw the tv away and buy new one.
LG OLED screens when stored for more than a year without opening do they damage?
