iPhone SE (2022) Review: The Most Affordable Way to Go in on Apple

The iPhone SE (2022) is filled with an old-meets-new appeal. It’s a low-cost way for people to upgrade from an iPhone 8 (or older) who would like to keep a familiar design, but it’s also an iPhone for those that don’t care about Apple features like Face ID or MagSafe. The new SE is essentially a blend of an iPhone 8 body with tougher glass and the processor from the iPhone 13. Apple’s mix-and-match approach gives the iPhone SE newer features like 5G support, a longer battery life and iPhone 13-levels of performance all while retaining the home button and the classic design that many are comfortable using. The iPhone SE is an extremely capable phone that gives you a great camera and all of the Apple goodies like iMessage, FaceTime, Apple Music and access to the App Store.

I have the 11 pro and the 12 pro max . My family just purchased 3 se phones and to be honest I really like this phone . It’s small and it fits in a lot of my smaller bags . It feels like the same phone to me . Everytime I get a new I phone I always felt like it was almost the same thing just a different packaging and small differences . Now that I’m older I don’t see the need to keep getting the newest stuff for myself .
This phone is like $149 now!! Still 2022! Awesome budget phone the only product apple isn’t whacking on
I just bought one from the Apple Store. I currently have an iPhone 12 mini so I’m technically downgrading but $429 was the most I could afford after saving up. My current phone was a goodbye gift so I decided I’ll keep it. It barely works due to a few mistakes that damaged it but it’s still a gift. I decided on starlight color though. I like black but I want to change things up. I’m excited to get Touch ID tbh.
I’m happy your review is from the iPhone 12 mini to the iPhone SE 2022 because that’s exactly what I’m doing. It makes the review feel tailored to my situation and that’s helpful
If only Apple would add finger, print reading capabilities under the glass screen like Samsung has done. If they did that, I would upgrade to something beyond the SE3. Another option is for Apple to make an SE 3 plus model.
Yes, I will buy SE 2022. Still using my 6s now.
I like the SE model but I did get the 13 mini because of the size, camera, a real little power house. But I was on the fence for the SE because of the classic body style…
It would have been better if it was a plus.
ah the iphone se2022 the last of the steve jobs era phones such a reliable phone
I bought the best phone.
The face ID jiggle drives me nuts.
I wish there was an iphone se plus. Just like my 8 plus.
I would very much love to see Samsung S10e, that small, compact one, to become re-alive, with updated specs!
Got mine . Just wanted a small phone . Can’t get any other good quality smartphones at this size that are any cheaper brand new . Very few small phones available sadly . Not everyone wants a giant sized phone
Was on the 8+ for the longest time, until 3 weeks ago, Now I am on the se22
avoid bad language please
I switched from a 12 Pro Max to a 2022 SE. I love the SE. I thought I would miss bigger size and camera, but I don’t.
I have been so sick and tired of fitting my 6.5″ phone into my back pocket (barely) for the last 3 or 4 years that I finally switched back to iOS after 10+ years simply because of this offering (and two broken 6.5″ phones.) Can process more than I need, has the size that I need and overall feels like my old iPod touch I grew up with, but can call and text when I need to. There’s nothing I’ve met better than this model, I only wish it was available sooner. Welcome back to the front pocket Apple, pleased to have you.
This is a fantastic review👍
Was just thinking, As you said, if Samsung really does that putting SD Gen2 chip in Galaxy 8 or 9 body and sell it for $399 or $449..I would say it’s definitely a better deal than SE3. Samsung should think about this.
cheapest way is to get a iphone se 2020 seminew, I got one ins spain for 150€ the phone has the best camera in the market compared to phones of the same price and higher.
Watching this from my iPhone SE 2022 which I bought few days ago From Apple Store in Turkey 1000 Dolar ( and it’s the cheapest iPhone in Turkey ) 😂
Nice review ❤
I love this phone and I find it to be a definite improvement over the 2020 model.
