The HomePod Mini will be able to control your Apple TV, and your Apple TV can play audio through your HomePod Mini. Apple’s HomeKit platform is going to play nice with third-party devices and you’ll soon be able to tap your Apple Watch to unlock your front door.

Apple Watch has always had a Home app, it just really sucked

How about something basic like a real intercom instead of a PA system called an intercom.

Home pods are so buggy, very frustrating
Wrong at the beginning on two counts…We already have play a tv show with Siri, we already have stereo pair with HomePod mini on an Apple TV. You can do both of these things right now. These are not new, Apple sometimes re-announces these features to either fill the gaps to remind people of a feature or to explain where we already are to introduce the next feature. You say they should’ve already had it: and they did.
I love CNET. This is what TechCtrl is striving to become (and doing a good job so far)!
