Apple’s newest version of iPadOS doesn’t arrive until the fall. It’s got some possibly helpful changes, but does it go far enough?

MISALIGNED HOMESCREEN I HATE IT….
Disappointing.
Apple vs huawei i guess
All this feature yet no calculator…
All that “what’s a computer” marketing just to turn it into a macbook accessory.
Samsung DeX is way better than these updates. =(
Oh my, those poor people that got 16gbs of RAM expecting pro apps🤦♂️
IPad Pro users — Give us MacOS or a beefed up OS.
Apple — here is some widgets.
Surely there is a place in Apple those widgets can be shoved up.
Samsung needs to capitalize on this by hopefully giving the market what it wants with an actual proper tablet OS (Just ignore Google) with their Galaxy Tab S8 line coming out.
Apple has gotten too comfortable with iPads position in the market right now.
They have done almost nothing to iPadOS. Really disappointing. Yes, widgets now finally also work on iPad — but same old home screen. Thunderbolt support, but no real external monitor or external webcam support. M1 chip but no Pro Apps. Not even a better files app. I don’t expect the calculator app to arrive in this century… Quick note is nice, the integration with mac is also nice, … but what is the use case of buying an M1 iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard? I don’t get it. There is nothing you can’t do with iPad Air.
I feel Apple is only business minded fooling people to sell their products with launch of M1 chip iPad pro, in reality there are NO pro apps😀😀😀
Y’all have to understand that the iPad was not designed to be the MacBook. So chill.
Wheres the calculator??
How bout the file explorer? Any good neews?
Economy of scale is the reason why M1 was put into an iPad.
Apple is a publicly traded company that answers to their shareholders. They cannot allow iPads to cannibalize their Macbook sales which is what would happen if MacOS came to iPads. Both product lines sell very well. Intentionally terminating one of their largest revenue streams would be idiotic.
iPads are NOT laptop replacements no matter what Apple’s marketing wants you to believe.
Incremental updates I would say. Apple is so far ahead, but they are actually behind. The iPad is STILL not capable enough for all that hardware and power. A beautiful, expensive piece of garbage.
iOS 15 = iOS 14s. 😂
All that power and still no proper file app improvements. I use the Ipad Pro professionally and my workflow would benefit with an improved sharing files/data between apps — functionality. The current architecture lacks quite a bit. Universal Control however appears to be quite interesting.
Users — We want Final Cut Pro on the M1 iPad Pro
Apple — Here is a widget for you
FYI your audio is really super muffled & low in this video. The advertisements that played before were loud & clear; then it switched to this clip & I had to turn my volume all the way up….
Everyone complaining forgets this is iOS15 beta 1! Y’all need to chill!
Not really surprised with this reaction.
Why did Apple launch the Pros just before WWDC? They were just setting everyone up for disappointment. Or maybe they just don’t have anything for next year either.
iPad users: We want Pro Apps, we need full external Monitor support, And a Real Files App!
Apple: We hear you want Widgets
I think isn’t going to happen. Just not ready yet.
Get a laptop, limitless multitasking without all that tracking.
0:24 seems what you need is a laptop
