Bradly should have worn a skirt to work.
Patton was ruthless and sometimes that’s what it takes in a place like that
We were backpacking in the 90s as young free-spirited guys. We are in this nowhere town in Czechoslovakia. We went out to get a drink and we took a trail through these woods came up on this little place out of nowhere. It was a bunch of old men drinking and chatting it up. We just wanted a few beers. We noticed on the wall it was almost a shrine to Patton. With candles and medals and ribbons… We wanted to know why it was there but no one spoke English. I’ve always wondered about that. I think it was on the outskirts of pilzen…
I wish we had more shows of 360 type of shows for I remember 360 in the 1990’s I think on TV and watching this stuff on Navy Enterprises ‘grey ghost’
From American John Robert Bruffett Junior!!!!
This is more like Cheesy Paton especially from those “analysts”.
10:20 jaguar tank foota
My uncle was with Patton in Africa and he was proud
Let’s do it again. Germany serves no useful purpose anyways 👍
There is a school Named after Sgt John Hawk in Kitsap County Washington.
We have listen to Patton them we dont have to deal with Russian son bi„„„, Now but all well
21:41ish of the video you can George Patton’s beloved English bull terrier “Willie.”
when I see all this stuff about Monty vs Patton and Bradly I remind my self that I was not there and never in a situation any ware close to what these men were dealing with.
My Granddaddy was there W.H. Drummond sergeant of machinegun squad in the 76th. They were not in Patton’s 3rd army but attached to it and his outfit were the point of Patton’s spearhead. They were out in front so far that sometimes they took enemy fire from the front and friendly fire from behind. They were the first men to breach the Siegfried line and set foot on German soil ‚they fought all the way across Germany to 50 miles from the boarder of Czechoslovakia
HOW CAN YOU NOT BE IN AWE OF THE GERMAN ARMY. SUPERIOR FIREPOWER, TANKS, PLANES, BATTLESHIPS, SUBMARINES, LIGHT INFANTRY ALL FANTASTICALLY ENGINEERED. HENCE THE DEMAND FROM COLLECTORS TODAY. AND AMAZINGLY FROM ONE COUNTRY. HOW DID THEY BUILD ALL THAT SO FAST?
aug 20 1944
I Patton had lived IKE would have never got in the white house not because Patton would run but because Patton would have killed him in the press
Interesting and informative excellent photography job making it easier for viewers to better understand what the orator was describing. Historians did a very good job presenting actual facts from fiction. Class A research project. Orator presented the documentary very well. Rough combat operations on both sides. Bradley was too cautious at times. Special thanks to the veteran guest speakers sharing their combat experiences making the documentary more authentic. Along with the allied forces who fought/perished/survived fighting the enemy forces. Yet still went forward knowing certain death/debilitating wounds were often possible. That made this documentary possible.
It’s neat watching all these historical documentaries on U tube, BUT, this network has wayyyyyyy too many stupid B.S. ads compared to network television.
Unequivocally, an extraordinary military leader who fearlessly advanced in the hazardous frontlines, unlike bureaucrats like Eisenhower, Bradley, Monty. A committed soldier to winning.
3:31 literally all of my favorite scenes from Patton 360 and battle 360 are the scenes with planes 41:57 42:35
The plan after the breakout from Normandy had been ordered before the invasion by President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Churchill. Supreme Commander Eisenhower was told to advance on a broad front into the heart of Germany until unconditional surrender. Ike never departed from those orders despite his subordinates constant requests to do so. .
Wow so this where Call of Duty 3 comes from. The US, Canadians, Polish and British trying to cut off the retreating Germans
I would have killed Hitler!
Sun tzu if you surround an enemy they will fight like a traped pitbull but if you give them a little place for them to retreat they will run.
I really like these Documentaries. My only issue with them is the constant repeating of information already gone over. It’s rather annoying.
