Be careful with what you criticism about iVerge because one day one of the editors is gonna go in the comments and roast one of you.
all i can think of while watch is: FINGERPRINTS EVERYWHERE
Bouncing into it all the time xD wink wink
2016 is unveiling incredible technology, the future is now.
A future of smudged fingerprints everywhere. What a nightmare.
I remember watching the Corning Everyday Glass concept video…
The problem i think as so do many others, that a touch screen limits itself to visual feedbacks, requires the driver to take the eyes off of the road, where as even old fashion nobs can give much better feedback without the drivers having to look at the controller
Hello Black Mirror season 1 episode 2.
I am pretty sure the Tesla uses that same thing in their car already, this guy mentions petty iphones using it instead and talks of a rumor from ford (facepalm)
iphone is iphone
c.glass starting to feel like old tech, future vision on a “glass” world do not making a lot of sense when we start considering CHI
but, its not shatter proof
About time. The possibility for this kind of technology was around ages ago. Were always a decade behind.
What if I dropped my car? Omg what if I dropped my home?! This is too emotional for me
That table thing looks really similar to the original Microsoft surface table concept
the vag…
I didn’t know that Corning makes glass for iPhones, o though that Apple uses safari glass for iPhones
Touch Screen should not be used in cars. Drivers need to keep their eyes on the road, tactile buttons and knobs would work better as you can fiddle with them while keeping eyes on the road. With touch screen most of the time you would not know what you are pressing and tempted to look at the screen.
Another think people will have to note is that a screen wall is always on, the heat generated is unbearable in the long run. It is ok in malls or companies for advertisement where people just walk pass for a moment.
Have a screen table at school, even in an air conditioned room it is so hot, barely anyone uses it. Also think about the electricity bill of having a screen wall.
hahaha “It needs to be durable because people are going to be.…. bouncing in it all the time”
Welp, now its time for the millions of viewers to start rolling in and do either their arguments, raging, or dislike for the innovative idea
I love it! 🙂
Iron Man: I envision armour for the world. — paraphrased
how would the glass fair with a car accident, will a huge piece break off and hurt someone, if it was in the car console.
If it breaks as easily as my smartphone does i think i’ll pass, thanks.
lol from the experience I have with my smartphone gorilla glass i wouldn’t want to have it in my windshield fuck this
1:22 Pinch to zoom FAIL
lighter does not mean less drag…
