Starting at $800, the company’s top consumer drone flies longer and farther, and is smarter than ever.

nothing here on low light filming
Ah, the video shot with it is extremely choppy, just the same as with their Mini. And all that for a whopping $800 bucks. The footage is unwatchable.
Cool. I’m looking for something to hold me over while I wait during this pandemic for the Mavic air 5.
The ADSB receiver is cool… forget the FAA’s NPRM
As impressive as the features of the new Mavic Air 2 are, I’ve already invested in a DJI CrystalSky 5.5 monitor to use with my original Mavic Air and it’s frustrating that DJI has opted to go with an unnecessarily oversized transmitter rather than stick with the compact form factor currently shared by the original Mavic Air and the Mavic 2 Pro — both of which readily accommodate the CrystalSky 5.5 monitor via small third party brackets. The new base transmitter is not only twice the size it actually needs to be (as demonstrated by the Mavic 2 Pro) but doesn’t appear to accept any monitor other than a smartphone. For me, my money would be better spent on simply buying a Mavic 2 Pro rather than drop another $750 on the DJI Smart Controller (which has no sunshade) while my CrystalSky collects dust

Would you get it? Let us know in the comments! 👇
That’s cool, do you need a special license for it?
does it still sound like an angry swarm of hornets like the first air? might need to upgrade, it all looks good!
Video in 4K seems to stutter, not really smooth when doing panoramic shots at all. To me the video processor is very glitchy and hesitant.
Do we have to register with the FDA .? Just wondering
For some crazy stupid reason it doesnt support the dji googles.
Should I upgrade from the original pro?
What about noise level??
Why would covid-19 shutdowns limit where you can fly?
This is a way better than my original Mavic Pro 1.
Does it have return to home?
How was the range? The Mavic Air was terrible!
How does this compare to the original Mavic Pro? Worth upgrading?
Does the aux light help with footage at night?
Does it come with a fly more package like xtra batteries , props etc. ?
Actually it’s not here. At least not for consumers until mid May or more realistically June. 😉
When you do a review and show footage, which is what we judge image quality by, you really need to make the raw footage available for download. Based on what I saw in this video I wouldn’t consider purchasing this drone. The CNET link provided is NOT raw footage.
Wow only 1080p is your video…
How about tilted horizon issues? Has that been fixed?
How about prices and delivery?
Hi I just wanted to know how long did it take for you to receive the drone knowing the circumstances. Btw I live in Canada. Thanks
My dream device
If you were to live in the UK like me, would you buy the Mavic Air 2 knowing it does not have the air sense built into the Uk models ?
Support for waypoints?
Your video footage was blurry and choppy.
Bought one on the 29th and it still ain’t shown up…
That is cool but we want waterproof one.
