Fun Fact: German’s Chocolate Cake is massively popular in both Okinawa and Hawai’i, and it’s made with choke amounts of shredded coconut. Go to Zippys for a slice when you visit the Islands.
I’m early! Give me a hamburger plz! 😋
No offense Miami, but Tampa owns the Cuban. 😉
I love this .… I always proudly claim that American cuisine is legitimately a reference to our mixing pot … we have influences from almost every Continent and a myriad of individuals countries or sub-Continents just as we have immigrants from the same.
The idiot Left wants to claim that “cultural appropriation” is a negative racist ‘thing’, which just defies logic. As DNA advances of today scientifically prove what we have long suspected, each American individual is a mixture from all over the world.
Although there are certainly some Americans with 100% DNA of one country/region, it is growing more rare. It is wonderful to learn from those who have the knowledge & unique experiences from their heritage .…
How fun!! I’ve eaten at the NYC restaurant where that General Cho (sp) was first introduced.… it was hands down the best American-Chinese cuisine I’ve ever had, ever. 😉
Tacos were invented in America 🌮🌮😀
interesting that in Germany I never heard of most of these dishes
Lol the changa throne = the throne of the female chimp
Looks delicious..!! I just ate breakfast just a couple of hours ago and now I’m hungry again. 🤣 Thank you for the update, History..!!

Cashew Chicken was invited in Springfield, MO.
”They ate puzzi before we gave them the gift of our cuisine.”
As a future President I approve this message 🔥🔥🔥🔥
There is a difference between a muffin and crumpet in the uk and the english muffins go way back one of the earliest accounts in england was 1759 what the usa call an english muffin and what england calls a muffin is total different the muffins that is a part of eggs Benedict is not a traditional English muffin the traditional english muffins come from the north of england and are a lot larger and there are 2 different types oven bottoms and oven baked and have been around for centuries
Just looking at the title, I’m like, “half of it is def Chinese food”, lol
Cashew Chicken was made right here in Missouri. By an Asian man. That stuff is so good. One of my favorite chinese meals.
created in America but not by Americans.. 🙂
Love me some toaster crumpets in the morning.
What about Chicken Chow Main…got left out.
Brownie and Hot Wings were also created in the United States.
Isn’t chop suey a California concoction?
I knew all these, but I still loved this presentation. Basically, if it’s deep-fried, super sweet, or contains giant meat, it’s American. 😂
accidentally, fried. said no one ever.
Everything tastes better fried
❤️❤️❤️
All this rubbish in one place, the new city dump.😂
1. What’s a Swiss Steak? 2. How can you say the Swiss weren’t involved when they brought the UK version of “swissed” steaks to the US in the first place?
That’s not true!!!! Pasta has always been the main course in Italy and meatballs are made bigger for the second course…
I think pasta and meatballs were already in Italy.
Meatballs are originally from the north of Italy, I think…
You forgot about swiss cheese from america cause each original swiss cheese have the name of the village it was produced
General tso was invented by a chinese imagrant named “sum ting wong”? I thought that was the pilot of that Taiwanese plane
Way to have Miami in the background when yall said TAMPA 😤
I’m a vegetarian and this video is horrific
tacos & fortune cookies…
I’m on a diet so almost all these foods on the list, I can’t eat! SO NOT FAIR!!😁

Great 👍😃
Asada fries and super burritos were also invented here in California 🇺🇸
American food is the best
This video prove that american didn’t invented any food😂😂😂
Great job America the only foods you can make are variations of other foods
Hawaiian pizza on the other hand… not American.
The fortune cookie…
I am glad the Spaghetti and Meatballs has finally been recognized as American Italian invention. Don’t go to Italy and expect to find that combination on the menu. Yes, Italy has pasta and they do have meat balls but they do NOT serve them together unless it’s some kind of tourist trap. Don’t be the tacky American that requests that to be made in a nice restaurant.
The exact history of chop suey has become remarkably murky. However, it is generally agreed that it was Invented in America, Inspired by the World.
When they had separate spaghetti and meatballs, the Italians had absolutely zero idea what they really had: protein and carbs!
