A data analysis and decision making organization, Experian India, offers free credit scores on WhatsApp. This is the first credit reporting agency in India to offer such a service. Consumers can now easily and regularly view their Experian credit reports to track their credit profile.
Under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act 2005, Experian India is the first credit bureau to be licensed in India. The program provides a fast, secure, and convenient way to access Experian credit reports anytime, anywhere.
Customers can take control of their credit profile by reviewing their Experian credit report, tracking discrepancies, quickly detecting fraud, and restoring their credit score. With 487.5 million users, India has the highest population of WhatsApp users in the world.
“This is a major milestone in Experian’s commitment to use data for good,” said Neeraj Dhawan, Country Manager for Experian India. We strive to strengthen India’s credit ecosystem and provide customers with easy access to credit information. This service, offered by the first credit reporting agency in India, demonstrates our commitment to promoting financial inclusion in India.
We believe every consumer should have access to fair and reasonable credit at Experian. Indian consumers now have free access to their credit reports via WhatsApp, enabling them to make more informed credit decisions, develop solid money management skills and reap the rewards of strong credit. This gives them the opportunity to transform their lives and financial health,” he added.
