0:15 that stop reallllllllyyyyy bothered me
I wish he bothered to look up the basic parts of a watch to get the descriptions right.
Bezel, dial, crystal, lugs etc.
Protip: The success of your workout can’t be measured by a watch, or app or anything other electronic.
Not to be a douche but its pronounced Activeeté the é being a very short and snappy at the end, like “eh”
I love this! Glad to see manufacturers starting to integrate data connectivity into actual mechanical watches. Speaking as a “watch guy”, we need more of this.
I didn’t really get what’s special about that watch and what is it useful for… And telling us to buy an apple watch when it comes out ? nah…
These is what wearables should be.… What the apple watch should have been, ill just add some notifications, in simple way added to this watch.
Imo for now this is how I want my smartwatch. A bit too early on the tech (especially on the battery side) to make an proper smartwatch, that really would be extension to my phone with no extra hassle or some kind of phone replacement.
I would really wanna see an actual automatic watch with a proven movement inside, combined with functionality like this and different looks. Kairos is kind of doing something like that, but they might have bitten more than they can chew with the original watch concept.
I would get a moto 360 more then that it cost less and does more
I’ll buy two moto360s. Thanks.
lol its not pronounced “activitey” its prounounced “aktiviteh” maybe you should get it right first
Wait hold on 450$ !!!!! On a French website they announce 150€ price tag… That’s roughly 200$ or a bit more wait I’m confused. Does someone know why there is such a price difference ?
What really bothers me is why exactly is it 450$? Comparing it to Activité Pop which is 150$ , all the other watch is offering is a leather strap (40$?) and a sapphire glass (80$?). Esthetically speaking it looks great but i don’t justify spending this amount on it. I would rather go with quartz watch.
For people who are complaining “Smart watches suck! I’d rather have a real watch instead!” YA HAPPY??!!!
where i can buy this clock on the the verge table that apeares in all of the review videos? this black classic table clock
Does anybody know what kind of battery does it use? Where can I buy a battery after 8 months of using it?
Not an universal band?! It use any standard 18mm straps & pins just fine. The one shown in the video has just the quick release pins.
check out my new account for watch videos, guitar, and reviews! hoping my new channel grows! thanks:)
Also not pronunced ectivité… It’ actually activité
Josh T would love this. He should have done the review.
the best thing about this watch, and one of the reason why i will probably be buying one, the cheaper version, which does the same thing, is that it does everything for you! i.e.. no adjustment or setting up to put it in sleep mode, etc for it does all this for you! it recognizes these actions as you are doing it and stores it up to 36 hours of activity inside the watch until you open up the app, which then it syncs with automatically! its truly amazing! also beautiful to look at as well! they also have a fitness scale thats amazing also! works with the app as well!
- no smart alarm
- no notifications
- hands are not visible in the dark
How accurate is the time on the watch?
does it tick loud? especially when you’re sleeping. I know swatch ticks extreamly loud.. please answer
Gorgeous. More of this is needed.
I’ve been saying WHYTHINGS with a soft T for years. Is it really with-ings? Withings just sounds so wrong to me but its a state I have to get used to as I am often wrong.
As for the watch, it looks horrible. Like something a dad would wear when I was a kid. It’s a dad watch. Thing is I am that age now so it should appeal to me but nope.
Not even roman numerals on the watch face. I hate that. A watch face should have numbers. It’s not that you don’t know where the numbers are, it’s ab iconography thing where the symbol gives you faster recognition than having to do math in your head about the relationship between the one bar and the other bars. It’s subtle but if I’m paying good money for a watch, I want all the subtle little features that make the watch a pleasure to wear.
Nice review 👍
