Feels like it’s rare for both weapons to perform very well in all 3 tests. Guess this came down to the finer details and feel of the weapon.
oh no
oh yes
there was nothing between both of these excellent blades, i would be inclined to share the prize money with the other guy, has this ever happened ?
Second axe first hit had bad edge alignment, that’s why this is more for “fun”. if they wanted the tests to be fair, they would have to use a robot so they know that every hit has the same power and precision. This style is more fun to watch.
Very neck neck to competition.
they need more challenging sharpness test. that 2 handed heavy axe vs 4 glass tubes…
- Japanese ono
- oh no
- oh yes
One of the only episodes where I would’ve been satisfied regardless of who won, the weapons were both JUST THAT GOOD 😀
Japanese army: We have a new Weapon.
another Japanese army : Oh No.
Japanese army: We have a Name.
Both those competitors look like they fuse together to forge Blake Griffin
I can’t be the only one who kept thinkibg of the Kool Aid man every time they said “Ono”?
im seriously considering taking up blacksmithing just to enter this competition to get a chance to hear “it will keal”
This was the very weapon that broke up the greatest band in history
that was the most amazing job of both blades, would have to be by far the hardest out of all that iv seen that would be to pick, both did such remarkable jobs
I know why it’s named Ono.
Because that’s what an enemy combatant would say when seeing one.
They sure got a lot of mileage out of that “ono = oh yes” joke huh
They really milked that “ono… oyes”
This is one of the closest one
I really felt Doug’s joy
Wait. Where is the explanation?
4:28 The way doug says “ohhhhhh noooooooo” gets me every time
after watching several parts in Youtube you can say who’s gonna win when one of the judges talks about the heaviness of a weapon it’s over !
Ono
Doug had some special extra venom for this KEAL test. He seems to get some extra pleasure dealing this level of savagery. Never seen those dummies mangled that bad by any weapon on this show. Those axes were seriously scary.
