Hydrogen fueled cars are not nearly as environment friendly as people like to say they are especially since most hydrogen is produced using methane and steam under high pressure and heat leading to its formation along with good amounts of CO2 as well. You can do electrolysis but that is much more costly and unless you source the electricity from clean sources it will also not be much of a help in reducing greenhouse gases.
I still agree with this one scientist and Nobel winner from USC (George Olah) who envisioned a methanol based fuel economy. Cars could/would use methanol fuel cells so they are electric and can be refueled with just a liquid that can be pumped using our existing infrastructure. The source of the methanol can be from existing sources of CO and CO2 such as flue stacks and such therefore sequestering most of the CO2 that would have been in the air. Plus we can still used methanol as a starter product to still make plastics and the like since it is pretty much one of the simplest hydrocarbons out there.
Is it possible to hack the phone or tablet so that it runs from the mains and not from the battery? I want to turn my tablet/smartphone to a wired desk clock. That would be great. Any ideas how to do it?
what to do with old phones? send them to me!
Android Authority I don’t understand what’s the point of this video?? Don’t you have shops that buy n sell used phones? Why waste your time online?
CEX (uk.webuy.com) offer very decent prices for old smartphones
I have an s3 and I’m offended by this video
I have an important question please I need your professional help!
It’s about Elephone. They have specs killers phone in crazy prices. Like the p6000 which have a 5″ HD screen with 64bit processor 4G 2gb of ram and a 2700mah battery and all this for only 135$.
Or the p3000 which has 5″ HD screen 4G support and a fingerprint scanner which you can get for only 99$!
Is it a reliable company? I have tried Thl and got into conclusion that they are horrible… Is Elephone is like Thl? Or going on the to Xiaomi? How come they are so cheap??? Moreover elephone doesn’t sell a lot of phones and make phones every 2 months which is crazy! Maybe a red light?
Thank you. Waiting for your answer.
Electronics Recycling Programs! If only those were a thing. In reality most companies ship the old electronics over to poor countries in places such as Africa and dump it. It’s really sad. If you have an old android smartphone please find another use for it. It’s a device the size of your hand that has the entirety of human knowledge available on it at all times. please don’t throw it.
My HTC Sensation… It goes for £9 on Envirofone, and It still struggles to perform day to day tasks with a custom rom
The problem to me is that too many phones are being manufactured, and then you have people who think that when a new handset is released, the previous one they had for less than nine months is now obsolete, and must be disposed of or in some cases sold. A lot of the recycle programs eventually dump the old phones into developing countries, where there are very poor environmental laws and procedures. We need to find other usage for old phones, and not just to dump them. Most of them can be given away, or sold to people in poor countries at a cheaper price. In most developing nations, majority of the population there cannot afford a smartphone. If we could get old smartphones refurbished, then they could be shipped and sold to consumers in those poorer markets.
where is the #dontbecuteeatthefruit guy?
love your videos buddy… but no domain.com O.o
What is the 0:54 live wallpaper app called? Thanks
Very cool video guys and loved the sponsor.
I’d like to recycle but they rip you off the money for what the phones are really worth. Then they take them and get paid double the amount they gave the recycler. The system just makes it harder to want to recycle.
My Note 3 will make a perfect mp3 player when I upgrade.
That toyota is fugly…
It’s Toyota Miraí — emphasis on the i.
Mirai it’s future in Japanese.
keep the good work 😉

i will sell my old mobile in market
You could use Google voice and the hangouts dialer to turn it into a wifi phone and replace your landline (assuming you still have one.)
While I’m sure most of us use our phones as an alarm clock, you can always use your old smartphone as a dedicated clock/alarm-clock
People are so stupid, if you care so much about earth, earthday should be everyday. How hypocrite are we? 364 days of screwing earth and 1 day “oh earthday lets do good” this logic is beyond me. Lol

I went from note 2 to s6 but feel so bad for my old phone. But I don’t wanna put it in the grinder because I loved it. Can you suggest something? It has its own sim card on a secondary network. I love my S6 but at the same time find it so hard to say goodbye. Wat do I do to forget my old phone??? Thanks.

The big problem with hydrogen cars is where that hydrogen comes from (95% comes from fossil fuels)
name of first wallpaper of androids moving?
god that car is fugly
Here’s an idea; take that old smartphone, connect it to a stereo or standalone powered speaker, like a Bluetooth speaker and use it to make a great web connected stereo system. Another use for an old android phone is as a USB WiFi adaptor. I did this when my laptop’s WiFi card decided to act up and used my android phone, tethered using USB, and kept my laptop connected
Jayce I have a Galaxy tab 10.1 p7510 the OG 10.1 in mint condition. I was into romming for awhile but its now back to bone stock except I do have Netflix installed and working. It just sits around collecting dust. I am a US Navy Veteran and would like to maybe donate it any sort of Veterans cause it doesn’t have to be just US vets either any ideas? You talked about phones but I’m sure what you said goes for tablets too. Thanks!
sell them on ebay…
Omg, the Toyota Mirias looks so cool!!! It literally converts hydrogen and oxygen into water! Epic
Y is it sep 11
I’m glad you guys have this video. It is a HUGE Concern, or at least it should be!! It makes me sick when I see people do reviews of phones, and then later show you how many phones they have. For example, I was watching some guy do a review, and then later posted a video about how many phone he had ((which was like 60+)). And it’s not only him. I see tons of people doing the same thing. I start to get uncomfortable once I have around 4. And then I realize that there are people out there that have like several several several phones. It’s a little rediculous. Especially when you have NO NEED for them, and all they do is sit around collecting dust. If anything, give them away, or do something with it. At least that’s how I feel. Sorry about the rant BTW.
I’ll just use it till i cant no more. My lg g5 is 4 years old and counting 😊 and still better than the 2020 foagships.
