Isn’t it the colonies’ duty to pay taxes to the mother colony. I mean, the price of tea was lowered and when taxes counter it out, it’s still the same price it used to be. The americans are not free people, they are a colony. They are supposed to follow what their mother colony says. I understand how it’s taxation without representation but I think the colonies were just an angry mob influenced by our founding fathers (who were policital and manipulating people). BTW I am american, I’m not making this argument because I’m english
The Intolerable Act….hopefully it doesn’t give the current government any ideas.
Tea wasn’t tea until southerners put sugar in it.
Today is my birthday. My ancestors participated in this party.
All this over some tea?
LOL now the people in govt here take our tax dollars by the millions to pay themselves for doing very little while we starve, and give our tax money to countries like israel by the billions
Tea Pain lol

The difference between then and now they were all in and all American patriots now. Democratic politicians are all in to fill there pockets and destroy America with false clames of racism demonization of white Americans no unity no patriotism no pride no religion no faith no common goals no love for each other no law no order and the republicans are no better. There are two things that will fix this country religious faith and the constitution that’s the simple truth.

The American colonies were exempt from all taxes and servitudes, declared Franks way before all this happened that’s why the British were mad.. and decided to do what they did „ 🧃 everyone 💰 to this day ..with lies n cover-ups…

Started 1762
Captain Josiah Edson British royal Marines was the 1st victim.
Hi just btw, the Quartering Act allowed British soldiers to stay in barns, halls and abandoned buildings, but NOT every day peoples homes. This was a common misconception told by the sons of liberty which made the act so unpopular, but to reiterate it was not actually true.
lol
What about the Coercive Acts passed by the British Parliament to punish the American Colonies following the Boston Tea Party Incident ?

Stamp Act of 1765. That propelled the whole No Taxation Without Representation bit. Just sayin. lol
