The sci­ence and tech­nol­o­gy pay­loads on the upcom­ing Orbital‑2 Mis­sion to the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion were dis­cussed dur­ing a pre-launch brief­ing seen on NASA Television.

Orbital Sci­ences Cor­po­ra­tion’s Cygnus car­go space­craft is sched­uled to launch from the Mid-Atlantic Region­al Space­port at NASA’s Wal­lops Flight Facil­i­ty in Vir­ginia on Sun­day, July 13 at 12:52 p.m. ET.

The Cygnus will be filled with more than 3,000 pounds of sup­plies for the sta­tion, includ­ing the sci­ence exper­i­ments, crew pro­vi­sions, spare parts and exper­i­ment hardware.
