How the outdoors porn streaming on this thing?
If you do some extensive research, you can find many methods of setting up WiFi outdoors especially if you have a large property. And you can make it cost effective if you’re smart about it.
This is similar to the network booster they’re going to be using for 5G broadband to boost signals inside of buildings.
Cool.
Junk..
WE WANT DONG
Gimme the dong!!!
Dear CNET & Orbi Outdoor WiFi Satellite team, do you think, this is compatible to Netgear Orbi AC3000 model, since we have already connected 2nos satellite and as per the technical specifications, it supports upto 3nos satelllite. please let me know your review. Also i would recommend Netgear team to built a inbuilt battery backup router for at least 15min backup.…So there won’t be any turn while failure in AC line load shedding. Look forward to your revert.
No Ethernet makes it useless if you want to connect outdoor wired IP cameras to this. This should offer POE ports. You can lock down the MAC addresses on the router to keep trolls from jacking in.
Now they just need to redesign the AC adapter. It’s a monstrosity. Doesn’t fit in any weatherproof outdoor outlet covers.
Jus got an Orbi AC3000 & I now am looking at the same speed wirelessly that I’m getting from my Ethernet. The router is absolutely amazing!
I have a 5 acre lot. I have to be close to my house get on WiFi. My barn is about 200 feet away from my house, and it hardly gets WiFi. I don’t have this outdoor WiFi range extender.
So mine has suddenly stopped connecting. Just… stopped.
Out of warranty and Netgear is refusing to provide tech support on it.
