@13snigoog Not really, if they released this 6 years ago their would have been No reason to even get an Xbox360 or PS3, and believe PS4 and the 720 won’t get any better.

I play PS3, and if can choose between SixAxis and DualShock 3, I’m always take SixAxis, because DS3 is heavier. And I think, that Wii U is much heavier than DS3 🙁
@LillMikel I’m pretty sure that they said that while most games are built for use with one tablet, it is possible to have 2.

@L3gion3r The touch screen is only one aspect of the platform. You don’t even know what the final version will be like. Also the Vita doesn’t have Smash Bros. And so far the only games with cross compatibility to their PS3 counterparts are Capcom fighters.
@L3gion3r Originality? I guess quality and cost effectiveness has nothing to do with the matter. A console that features a baker’s dozen methods of controlling one’s games (many of which are in the screen controller) is pretty innovative to me.
And it’s an HD console with Nintendo franchises. I can dig that alone.

If that’s your argument then why slam Nintendo when you could slam Apple for releasing the same product with slightly different features over and over again every year?
@L3gion3r I… never said anything like that. I said you’re slamming Nintendo for producing what you call non-new tech despite knowing nothing about it. Apple rereleases the same platform with minor upgrades. All that ever changes is the size and the amount of features.
@L3gion3r Because the Wii U is nothing like the DS aside from its touch screen. It features even more methods of control than the Wii does and the ability to play your console games like a handheld platform (a nifty little feature that will DEFINITELY influence be useful for kids and parents that share TVs).
Not to mention the online will be redefined to be more gamer friendly (ala Xbox Live) and it’s an HD console. It’s as big a leap as PS3 was to the PS2. A big deal for any Nintendo fan.

they make too many kid games, yes they have some good hardcore games, but most of the nintendo games is just kid games.
I still think playstation and xbox will be the one most people perfer before wii u, especially as soon they too realse a new console. ( this is my beleif and opinion )
Too many kid games? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Who the hell cares if it’s not blood and gore? And better yet, how are Zelda, Metroid and F‑Zero kid games? Because there’s no blood or gore? Give me a break.

The Nintendo Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2 not the Xbox.
gamecube was more powerful than the ps2 by 50% but not the xbox.The first Xbox was the superior console of its gen.
xbox and gamecube failed in that generation compared to ps2
