Wish Echo was room aware so you could have default light/lights per echo device. So you could say turn on lights and not know the name of the light.

Activation button has its uses. I have a very deep monotone voice and it struggle to recognise its name. The speech recognition is awesome, just my voice sucks. It will get there.
Contrary to what you mentioned around 7:00, volume controls are still there.
if your going to do a podcast about something educate yourself about it first, whats the point of listening you to you guess about stuff.
I have voice unlock on V30 and it works fine. I also recorded my phrase and one in five the cording unlocks the phone. So not the most secure.
I feel as if the Google Home is way uncredited. It is way smarter then Alexa, but since it doesn’t support as many smart home devices it’s “not as good”. My Google Home understands me, knows me, and has an answer for basically anything I ask it. Where the Alexa, majority of the time, can’t understand or respond to what you ask it.
amazon banking on that the consumer will be stupid and reckless with spending. And now the consumer is too informed so they both have to work on stopping this.
