The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra is a 16-inch, 3.9‑pound workstation with Intel H‑Series processors and Nvidia RTX GPUs. With a 120Hz OLED screen to boot, it looks like it’s going to be a super powerful and super portable workstation for professionals who want a fast and good-looking experience. But with a starting price of $2,399.99, it’s almost as expensive as a MacBook Pro. We’ll have to see whether these powerful chips and this high-resolution screen, can provide enough performance and battery life to compete with Apple’s best. #Samsung #SamsungUnpacked #Tech

How much GPU is too much GPU for a laptop this size?
First ultra book !
Nice samsung
Hahaha never…
This thing won’t even last 1/3 the time on battery AND will of course disable the GPU as soon as you run on battery…
The screen is also much lower res and the battery size is a joke for this size and components.
how much is it???
OLED and high power chip means there’s 0% chance it can hold a candle to MacBook Pro battery life
HA! Not even remotely a chance
Oh you want us to answer the title question? I must have misunderstood the premise of this channel. 😂
AHHHH I wish they would make an AMD Ryzen sku just for the longer battery!!!
the trackpad thing is an instant deal breaker
Laptop is a laptop, explained.
lmao samsung laptops are a joke
what about charge ?
No
Which i7 or which i9? Just writing 13th gen doesn’t cut it, especially when the whole 13th gen lineup has so many SKUs. Being a tech reviewer, this is the least that’s expected 🫠
Even the XPS 15 with 100Wh can’t keep up with MacBooks, this laptop’s pathetic 76Wh is not going to either…
The bottom bezel is awful
But its still an Intel inside, whats the point, you still need plug in to get the best performance
Oh the Samsung’s trackpad doesn’t work? Big surprise. Still The Verge asks if it’s better than the fastest, longest batter life, best trackpad laptop in the world.
In the UK no price on the Ultra but £2050 for the no dGPU Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 (i7/512GB/16GB). Yikes, that suggests maybe £2500 for the Ultra. Makes Apple’s price rises look like price drops! I expected as much as chips, inflation, and exchange rates mean, the UK (and Europe) will have high pricing in 2023.
Anyway, at these prices, no thanks; even with the £200 off pre-order deal on the 3Pro360, I would want to wait for tests as I do not believe the hype about battery life and performance until I see it.
Short answer: No it can’t. I can already feel the heat it will generate on my lap
They are competing with other Windows ultrabooks.
So they copied air drop and universal control lol bravo on innovation
i wish they don’t have number pad
The only reason I would consider buying this over Macbook is better gaming performance… but these laptops are not for gamers, so why would anyone buy these?
There’s no way this laptop would be able to beat Macbook at maintaining battery and performance plugged or unplugged, not with that slim chassis and intel processor.
How was the speakers?
The Galaxy book 2 pro gives a clue on how the battery life will be. 22 hours advertised and 3.5 hours real world use. I could barely watch a movie on Netflix without draining the battery to 0%.
Who the hell is still clicking trackpads?
OLED + Intel Chip. I can already sense the heat coming from this laptop. Plus it’s a thin laptop so there might not be an efficient cooling system.
Issues with the touchpad ?!? I’m out!
I will never get samsung. One of the selling points of a 16:10 display is the tiny chin. Instead, they decided to make the laptop taller.
HDMI 2.0?!
