Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 review
[vid_tags]
Samsung has improved on the last year’s Flip by tweaking all weak points — low-light camera performance, battery life, charging speed. And, of course, the new Z Flip4 gets to boast the most current Android chip — the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Check out our video review to learn ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW about the Galaxy Flip4’s top features, build and screen quality, battery life, performance, and camera image quality.

#Samsung #Galaxy #Flip4 #review
Just got mine a couple of weeks ago. I love this phone! Can’t really explain why, but, I just love the display and feel of the zflip 4. I also have an S22 Ultra but prefer my flip 😀
Wow, it’s time to save up to buy this stuff next year hahaha
I’m considering this phone, looks like a very comfortable phone.
+ perfect for shallow or small pockets, gym bag pockets
+ easier to pull it out of the pocket while sitting, u have more flexible hips
+ flex mode awesome for taking selfie photos when traveling alone
+ flex mode good for lying in bed and watching some youtube without trying to find something to lean phone against
+ flex mode good for browsing while phone on the table, no need to lean forward and over the phone
+ when folded answering a call automatically puts it on loud speaker, when u unfold it it changes to earphone
+ no need to always unlock and stare at the phone for notifications that can draw u in and u end up using the phone just too much
+ it’s different
- no dust protection
- battery could be a bit better
- cover screen could be bigger, some day will be
i would like to try a flip sometimes. this one is not yet good enough, i don’t like the crease at all frankly.
Thank You for the review! I was wondering if anyone knows from experience, does this super low refresh rate (now as low as 1Hz/ 1 FPS) result in greater chance of burn-in issue? It scares me a little.
I must fu ally give Samsung some slack and praise. Their designs have finally evolved. It took a very long time, thanks to formidable market pressures from competition, no less. We all know when any single company has monopoly over a certain market, innovation stagnates.
What pains me to see is due to average mass consumer not really knowing anything about audio quality, most MFGs have neglected investing another half a cent to up and include better Bluetooth audio streaming quality. This is so sad, and puzzling, since wireless Earbuds are Everywhere! My grandma is coming up with a pair of 5.3s.…Jokes aside, this is SERIOUS, to me anyway. Having checked, iPhones stagnating the longest, being stuck at the very basic BT quality since forever to present moment, followed by not much better Samsung… only major smartphone MFG including any serious quality, such as formidable AptxHD, is Google’s Pixel 7 Pro. ALL LG flagships, as they’ve been known for their top quality audio, have had pretty much support for all of the high-end BT audio streaming formats, including Sony’s excellent LDAC and Qualcomm’s AptxHD, etc. The difference in quality is so great, that even the mass consumer mule would not just notice it but be wowed by it. What makes this reality even gloomier, is the fact that Earbuds, from $20 ones from a corner store to “high-end” Bose total rip-off ones at $300+ DON’T HAVE the support for the before mentioned “HiFi” formats. AUCHHHH! this is madness I tell you, MADNESS! I’d rather stay on my brilliant LG G8 Thinq for another 5 years than get the Google Pixel — what a joke of a device. I know this is an old argument, but all the more solid — include a 4K, now even 8K camera capability, without any expandable storage, is a joke played on all of us. At least Samsung goes upto 1TB of built-in. Anyway. Thus concludes this rant 😁🍻🙏🤟
I know you are doing the right thing for testing the device in all most common scenarios, including gaming, and we thank you for your thoroughness, but this baby, who ever gets it, didn’t get it for gaming. Just like with PCs, there is only one category of machines, if geared towards a certain use scenario, can easily cover and perform in every other scenario, that of course being gaming. A gaming PC can do everything, from spreadsheets (who says spreadsheet now a days anyways?) to graphic design. My advice to anyone who wants an all-round smartphone is to focus on one’s geared for gaming. It’ll do everything. Lastly, same as for PCs, usually gaming device means big and fat, so I guess they aren’t really meant for amazing portability. Look at this Z Flip wonder of a device though, this thing defines a whole new level of portability! Absolutely irresistible, to me anyway. 😁🍻🙏🤟
Samsung definitely pawns everyine else in camera quality. They really are the best. Not just quality but in number of tools and built-in gadgetry within the camera app and hardware-wise. For comparison, iPhone is great too, always has been, but does not offer nearly as many camera tools.
Fantastic selfie cam. Tho I never used one 😂
i hope they get many ideas to improve a n already good phone 🙂
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGKTf1yCU2Q my is already broke , after fell from 50 cm hinge stuck , it was in shock proof case without hinge protection’
So this phone is the US version.
Someone’s been lifting
Hi there I just want to ask the title of the song that you play for audio quality test?
Picture paying $1000.00 for a single speaker option.
🤓🤛
Warning! If you use Wireless Android Auto, the Flip 4 and Fold 4 have major issues:
My wife and I recently purchased the (very expensive) Flip 4 and Fold 4. Both of us keep our phones up to date. What we have discovered is that these phones CANNOT properly play music (Spotify or Pandora) through Wireless Android Auto. We have tested both of these phones in 3 different cars (2 BMWs and 1 Mercedes), and in ALL cases, songs skip like a bad 80s CD player between 1 to dozens of times per song.
Unfortunately, we discovered this too late, and thought, reasonably, that this could not be the fault of these flagship level phones from such a huge brand.
It’s the phones. This never happened with our previous OnePlus phones.
We have tried so many things suggested in forums, including:
Re-pairing the phone to the cars
Setting unrestricted battery management on all programs involved, including Spotify, Pandora, Android Auto, and Bluetooth
Having the cars checked with local dealers for any issues with the head units
Rebooting the phones
Having described all of this to Samsung chat support, the final suggestion was to upgrade to a different, also expensive Samsung phone.
Bottom line: If you’re going to buy either of these phones, and if you use Wireless Android Auto with music in the car, TEST THIS IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE, so you’ll have time to return the phone for something else.
Don’t buy this phone. Even with a protective case, a small drop will break the hinge and it no longer opens fully.
People, before you buy a Samsung device, you should read what I write here:
I bought a Samsung flagship device a year ago and miraculously, a few days after the device’s warranty expired,
the device’s microphones burned out, the repair requires a screen replacement at a cost of $500.
Unfortunately Samsung was not willing to test the device free of charge and certainly not fix it even though there is a serious bug in their devices.
